I've went to this location while passing time and was completely surprised and impressed with everything. From the location of the store, to cleanliness, service given and the variety of stock they had, it was incredible. I had purchased two games for my N64 which was Tetrisphere and Rush 2. The prices are INCREDIBLE. Talking to the wonderful woman who had been working, I found out it is a family business which is always a great thing. It's great to support small and family owned businesses. There's a lot of love and passion with what they do there and you can see it the second you walk in. I live two hours away and I'd happily drive there to be a regular for any and everything I need just because of everything I've previously mentioned and to always show my support. If you come across this, PLEASE support this business. I don't leave many reviews but this one is a no-brainer. This is a place i will never forget nor will I ever stop supporting them one way or another just from my first time going there!

This store is a true Hidden Gem for gamers. They are nice, understanding, warm, I could go on. They are gamers who care about gamers. Great selection and 100% fair trade prices. They don't lie and do underhand things like other game stores do. Such as EE Comics / Extensive Enterprises.
GO TO GAME EXCHANGE in MEDIA. DON'T make the same mistake I made going to EE.

Hands down best game store in the Philly area. It takes me like an hour to get here and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

The store is clean and well organized so it’s pretty pleasant to browse. Not to mention how friendly the staff are, any time you come in or ask a question they’ll drop everything to help you.

The game and console selection though, some of the best prices around. You’re probably paying base ebay price on half the games here. Some of them are even cheaper. The right wall is covered in PS1-WiiU games, all going for $5 each (the fourth is free). I got 4 solid Xbox 360 games for $15, and they’re in darn good condition too. Heck, one of the game I got had a scuff in it. The clerk told me she had a better box, and grabbed a more expensive $10 one for me, still charged the original $5 price!

Way above and beyond customer service, way above and beyond prices. The hike to Media is longer than any other game store in the area for me, but I still pick it over any other store.

Best little game store in town. They have so much to look at from so many different game titles for different systems to cool little figures and cards. I highly recommend this store even if its your first time like me bought so many cool games for my GameCube!!!.

Nice retro video game store with a pretty good selection. Went for the first time on 12/7/24.

Picked up a N64 recently and needed a few games. Grabbed two titles there. My son also wanted a gamecube game and controller since our Wii system supports that - so we grabbed those as well. I was impressed that she cleaned the gamecube disc prior to ringing up the sale.

The gamecube game and controller worked perfectly. However I wasn't able to get either N64 games to work. Come to find out that the pins in both games were very dirty. I expected both titles to be tested if they are being offered for sale. Pretty disappointed about that.

After cleaning both games with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip - both titles now work. Only took me a few minutes to do that. Was glad that I didn't have to make a return trip to the store as it's a good 45 mins from me.

Moral of the story - check the pins on the N64 games you buy from there. I naively assumed they would have been cleaned.

Mark has an awesome selection of games and movies both modern and “retro”. More importantly, Mark is super knowledgeable (but humble) and extremely friendly. A great selection of $5 games and movies with more sought after games being reasonably priced behind the counter. The store is a gem in downtown Media and is easy to access from both Route 1 and the Blue Route Also, just a quick trip to 95 for you out-of-towners. Well worth my time, I look forward to returning soon.

September 2024 2nd Visit - much more focused on video games than in my prior visit. Lots of bangers in the glass cases and behind the counter with “filler” titles available to browse freely. I enjoyed the staff person although I missed her name. She brings a vibrancy to the store and had a vast knowledge base and great customer service skills. Still a great store well worth a visit to Media. Thanks for your hospitality!!!

I got pretty sick in August of this year. Covid, first time, and I was able to get refunded for a trip I had to miss thanks to it. With the money I'd gotten back, I started my hunt for a Wii.

I knew that this place offered Wiis at an affordable price with wires and controllers included, but I couldn't actually get out there until about three days ago. I'm out in the West Chester area, so this is a bit of a hike, but folks, let me tell you: It's well worth it.

This place is a hidden little gem in the heart of Media. It's incredibly cozy and from the second you walk in until the moment you leave, you feel welcomed. It has tons of merchandise for any gaming fan to feel at home ranging from figurines to video games, both old and new— And, of course, Wiis.

The girl behind the counter was super helpful (and not judgmental about the amount I was spending, lmao, thank you) and had me on my way in less than ten minutes, satisfied and with a new(ish) Wii.

I can't wait to start rebuilding my old lost collection of Wii and GameCube games and rest assured, next time I'm in Media, I'll definitely be popping into Game N Dvd Exchange for more.
