My friend and I were looking for a quick lunch to have on Venice and this hit the spot. We got an Italian sandwich ($20), which was hearty with great ingredients, a Greek salad ($18), light and tasty, and a citrus soda ($3.5). I kinda justify the cost in that I’m not paying tax and tip for the meal. It’s a nice place to browse through and explore the unique items they have to offer.

Pirates of the land.

This place is the absolute worst. We went and bought a few things here and they charged us for larger items than we actually bought. When we pointed out the ‘mistake’ they said that they refunded it and that we had to pay for the correct things. Well, they never gave the refund and we ended up paying for both. They stole from us.

Additionally, what kind of grocery store asks for a tip? We gave one so they also ended up getting tired for this.

If that wasn’t enough for you to avoid this place, then they are also ridiculously over priced. There was this £7/litre regular grocery store olive oil that they were charging $28/0.5litre for +tax +tip.

This place is a joke.

Lots of eclectic and artisanal items to stock up on for your pantry, or a good spot to
buy gifts for a foodie 😉

I do enjoy the coffee and location, today it was so off that I drank half the cup and decided to give it to a homeless guy who then thanked me and took a sip of it, only to kindly walk away and set it on the trash can with a disappointed look… so it’s hit or miss. I am not sure but today a homeless man wouldn’t drink it, He was looking through the trash can for food when I gave it to him

Unique, curated specialty goods and produce at premium (but fair) prices. Cute place to discover new treats or ingredients, or treat yourself or others to unique items. Went in for the first time today on a Saturday around noon, and the workers were all super friendly, helpful, and chill. Agree that there could be more vegan options, and that a lot of stuff do not have prices labeled. For reference, a specialty toothpaste was $10 (same price as David's toothpaste for those who know), and an 11 oz snack of flavored pretzels was $4, so the prices were not crazy marked-up like I had assumed for a place in this niche and location! Will come back when I'm in the area 🙂

$18 for a salad with low cost ingredients, which is not even good. Same salad that costs $3.5 at Pavilions.
$36 for 2 salads.
Worst value for money ever.
