Cane in for a tres Leches for my fiancés birthday, and it was pretty good. No complaints besides the frosting on the inside was pink, and I had no way of knowing until cutting into it. She likes all white cakes and all the 3 leches I've bought in the past are all white throughout. Personally, I would have wanted a little more condensed milk, but for the rest of the family, it was just enough, and I know I like an absurd amount on mine.

For the rest of the store, the prices are a bit higher than, for example, el super but are newer and cleaner than them.

This store has very bad product. I purchased shrimp yesterday 12/2 and when I was preparing dinner today 12/3 they smelled horrible. When I went to the store the supervisor sent me to the back to order more shrimp in exchange the butcher had a HARD TIME serving me the amount I asked him for I left with .50 cents less of product than what I paid for… the other supervisor in charge Alicia rang up a product I purchased I got no apology from anyone there. And I have also purchased rotten fruit from here before but just because of convenience I come back. But that’s enough.

I go here for ceviche, watermelon, or the fresh juice they make but the price has doubled on the fresh juice and watermelon they cut up and it's not always good or fresh so it isn't worth the price . I go to the superior market, and they have packed fruit for $2. If not good, it's not that big of a loss as $6

This is without a doubt the best hispanic market chain in LA County. 4155 Tweedy Blvd, South Gate, CA 90280. Super fruits & vegetables, fantastic butcher shop, "oh my goodness" desserts and cakes, friendly service and spotlessly clean. Hey, gringos, go there! No te decepcionará!

Very bad service, they have no quality in terms of customer service. Specially the Store manager in the morning when i lost my dozen eggs, forgetting them outside my shopping cart, when she was aware, that I Left them behind by accident and she decided to give them away to random person outside. When i wen back to the store try to see if i could recover them, she said in a rude way, It's my lost that North Gate its not responsible of Customer forgetting stuff.
