Located on Ocean Ave which is the main street of Cayucos downtown. Parking is on the street with handicap access. Shop interior is very well displayed and inviting. The service assistant was very friendly and helpful. Lots of items and variety. There are more items on the second floor. The straw sun hats looked cool.
We were looking for anklets. She checked the inventory but couldn't find what we liked. They accept credit cards.

Have shopped there several times before, but today when we went in, were completely ignored.
The young man and woman behind the counter were intently interested in each other, but we didn't even get a Hi let alone a How can I help you.
Didn't feel like fun, clean or not.

This is likely one of the physically closest Surf and rental shops that is almost directly on a Central Coast beach. Most other surf shops in Pismo for example can be up to a few blocks away in some cases. Of course, if one is staying in this town, this is definitely easy to get to. This town is compact for sure and despite way too many tourists in general, one is always tempted to visit off season. Some things are a bit hidden, like the free tennis courts for example. Obviously, due to proximity, it is easy to find a place to grab some eats after doing some sports.

Fall break 2021 was a success, due in a large part to the wetsuits we rented from Good Clean Fun. Weston (2nd generation owner) was great- he helped my girls get suits in the correct sizes, gave a suggestion for a waterfall hike that we loved, and was friendly and helpful. We will be back the next time we're in the area and need suits!

Great shop and helpful staff. My girlfriend bought a wetsuit her on sale this winter. Works great and good quality a 4.3mm Buell. They have great options for locals and visitors. Plenty of rental equipment. Check them out if you are in Cayucos!

Great beach/ surf shop. Plenty to browse. Fun hats and clothes, a little of everything you might need when you visit from out of the area. We’ve been through Cayucos several times. Fair prices on most things, including a surf board we bought here. Nice vibe. Come support the local shops!

Really close to the beach, reasonable prices on rentals and great inventory of items for purchase. The 2 younger gents that worked there were really helpful, polite and got our family in and out really quickly for both rentals and checking equipment back in several times during the weekend. I would definitely visit again.

We visited the shop last summer while on vacation. We purchased several GCF T-shirt's, a sweatshirt, and a pair of $60 sunglasses. The screw fell out of the glasses the first night my son had them, and we couldn't find it. We returned to the store the next day and they allowed us to return the glasses, no questions asked. They didn't have another pair exactly the same, so we purchased a pair that was more expensive and they discounted the price so we did not have to pay more than $5 extra. The T-shirt's and sweatshirt we bought have held up really well--I wear my tshirt several times a month all year long and the color hasn't faded at all. For store brand clothing, the quality is exceptional.
