WOW
I visited the other Goodwill on Old Seward HWY but this one takes the cake.
I felt I was in a Target store in a bad neighborhood.

Over 50% of their merchandise is from Target AKA ( Commercial Salvage ).
Goodwill you just cornered the market.

I think Target is better off just by passing their store’s and heading those trucks right over to Goodwill.

The write off has to be amazing.

I think we Should give the CEO of Goodwill a bump in his multi million dollar salary and double that bonus ?

I've been shopping at good will for years. I brought a damaged item to the front and asked for a discount. Something they do all the time. Gilbert, who said he is a supervisor was very rude and short with me.
I went to the donation center and came back with a coupon and tried to purchase the item again. When Gilbert saw my coupon he threatened to call the cops.
Gilbert has a horrible attitude.

They ruin the goods by taping them around. I bought corldless phones in great shape, but the sticky tape residue stuck on the screens.
Should use plastic bags to pack the items.
Once the issue gets corrected, I will change the stars.

Love this goodwill. Pretty large with great selection. Some items are a bit over priced... But alas, the goal is to make money ?‍♀️ and you really can get some great finds still ($2.50 for the pictured jacket) And I do appreciate the military discount, and the color tag sales!

Staff has always been super friendly as well.

They won’t return or exchange anything, even if it turns out not to work. Coming recently from the lower 48, this is the first goodwill I have ever encountered that has no return policy. This is on top of really high prices, considering that everything they get is free. For example, their books have been randomly increasing in price to the point of insanity on some books. Then, I watch every Sunday as they haul off giant carts full of unsold books because people didn’t buy them. They would rather do this than just be reasonable and generous to the community. Again, everything they receive is free. Only a spirit of greed here.

I just went in looking for some khaki pants and unfortunately they didn't have any my size. But regardless, the store is surprising well organized especially for a store of this type. I browsed the book section and it was also really well organized by categories of interest. My only complaint is some of the items are priced a little bit higher than I would have expected. They really need to set a more reasonable price on some things. Just my humble opinion.

You can find some good items here but the customer service is poor. I've been in here multiple times and had to wait for a cashier, but today was my worst experience yet. I had two items in my hand walking to the register. 3 employees are standing in the walking area talking. I stop and they slowly part and let me go by without saying anything. Again like usual I get to the register...someone is already waiting. A lady walks up that works there and pages a cashier to come up front, that was nice but then she asks if she can ring up her items for her break, so I got to wait longer
