I was coming into town to host a board meeting and was super keen on giving small bags of goodies from a local shop. Gourmet Works made that happen (and on a super fast turnaround- I called Saturday morning, bags were ready by Monday afternoon). I appreciated the active communication from Shree and his many suggestions. Needless to say, the gifts were a hit! Folks couldn't stop raving and what they didn't devour upon opening, they were able to easily transport home.

Great spot for little gifts, delicious handmade chocolates, and service that doesn’t disappoint. I believe shree is the gentleman that helped me out, greeted me as soon as I stepped in the building. It was my first time in there and I had many questions to which he kindly answered and was not shy at; all great people person, definitely need more people like Shree working these jobs. Don’t really experience that level of service to often anymore. Unfortunately there they don’t allow free sample of the chocolates but after he had explained to me why I couldn’t complain, I was actually more inclined to go home with some(I couldn’t resist). He explained to me that they are small batch chocolates and they are hand made, no use of big factories and machinery. They are made by hand with LOVE that u can taste with every bite. These are the things that will absolutely keep me personally coming back here for a genuine smile, great conversation and damn good chocolate. As I mentioned they do also have a bunch of other things like charcuterie boards with cute little china pieces, different curry sauces, even had organic raw honey comb which I must say I’m a sucker for. I would rate my experience an 11/10 given the young man made my day and was very happy the whole time even though I bored him with my questions.

Hands down the best chocolate shop I’ve ever been to. From the first second I walked in to Gourmet Works I knew it was going to be a lovely experience. I was greeted with smiles and kindness by the very friendly young man working there. Not only was he very helpful in deciding what chocolates to get, but he also helped me with directions because I was no very familiar with the area. I’ve never met such welcoming kind people in my life. 10/10 would recommend everyone check out this store, especially if you love chocolate!

I wanted a large number of gift baskets for my extended family, some of whom have dietary restrictions. When I went into Gourmet Works, each member of the family worked with me to find a variety of items that would please a large, diverse group, all within a tight budget I had set. They gave me festive, beautiful bags full of fun snacks and helpful items, and even helped carry things out to my car. I highly recommend this place both for chocolate, and for gift ideas for anyone.

Warm people are the best. I was a little under the wire today with time and Sri (I hope I’m spelling that right) was kind enough to have me come in right at closing anyway and help me put together a chocolate assortment. The chocolates all look great and there’s no doubt that we’ll be enjoying them
