Most of the time the items that are a little out of date is perfectly fine however I did purchase an item that bad & I'll bring it back. They are good about giving a refund with a receipt.
I've had this happen at big box stores as well so it's nothing worse than any other store.
UPDATE: stopped in today to make my return, which they gave me with no problem. Also took a few pictures.

Definitely can’t beat the prices for groceries! The selection changes weekly. Make sure you check the expiration dates!!!
