This place was so interesting!! When you walk in it's a thrift store, and they have a bunch of cute things throughout. Then when you walk through the thrift store to the back, there is a restaurant and some tables/booths to sit at. The staff was SUPER friendly and so welcoming. I got the Backyahd Honey Bahb Sandwich, which was very tasty. I got potato and pasta salad for a side, which were pretty good too! My only complaint for them is that they sides were a bit small. I also ordered a lemon donut waffle stick as a dessert and it was good! I will absolutely come back here for lunch again!

One of the great staples of a small town is a great sandwich shop pair that with an amazing atmosphere and antiques and you’ve just changed the game. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap with a cherry limeade. Will be returning!

Harvard Yard with the Boston accent! CLEVER!!! I had the North End Italian sandwich on their signature roll, insanely good! Nice kick too! Must come back because everyone's order looked amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the items on the menu. And the "antique" store that it's located in, very cute stuff.

We stopped in here to grab lunch with me and several of my friends. We had a great time the food was delicious and the owner was really nice. I do wish the pizza would have been a little hotter, but the soup was scorching. Definitely would recommend that you stop by and grab a bite to eat and walk around their cute shop.

Incredible atmosphere. Owners are super friendly and helpful. THE FOOD is amazing. What an addition to the Town of Selma! My wife said the Cobb Salad with the house spicy ranch was the best salad she has ever eaten. I had the Buffalo Chicken and it was great. We will return many times. PRO TIP: get the homemade lemonade or orangeade!

First-time customer visit. A friend of ours passed, and his celebration of life was here. The service was amazing. The staff is very accommodating. This place is a gem. They were able to provide gluten-free wraps and flatbreads, which were so flavorful and delicious. This place is a bit far from my house, but I'd be willing to drive out here. The restaurant is also part boutique store. Such a variety of fun things to look at. I would recommend this as a great girls' lunch out or date place .

This place is great. The service is fast, the food is so tasty and affordable and the owner is a pleasure to chat with. Absolutely nothing less than 5 stars to say about this establishment that is inside of The Southern Bostonian, a nice store with a very welcoming feeling and front desk clerk. I'd eat here all the time if I resided anywhere near here.

Our senior group of 28 stopped at Hahvahd Yahd Cafe for late lunch after attending a show at the nearby Rudy Theater. We went here because of a recommendation by one of the Downtown Selma Businesses Promotion Committee's members. Because we were such a large group I called the Cafe to ask if they could handle 28 folks. The owner said they could. So we stopped in. The cafe is in the back corner of the home decor store, Southern Bostonian. Limited seating near the order desk, with seating for 25 folks in a dingy back room next to the small unisex bathroom (one sink and one toilet). There were only 3 folks handling the orders, cash register and food prep. We had to line up 28 folks to individually place our orders and then wait for them to be filled. Our 28 folks filled the small seating area while waiting for our orders. Some seated others standing. 4 of us ate in the back room next to the door to the unisex bathroom. The rest filled the available and cleared tables near the order window. One booth for 6 was not cleared from previous folks, so was not useable.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Hahvahd Yahd Cafe for any group over 4. The owner should not have said she could handle a group as large as 28 folks. We went in at 3:00 PM and the last of our group finished eating at 4:00 PM. The food was good, but standing around and waiting to order, then waiting for the order to be filled, did not make a good impression.
