Newer hotel. Very pleasant check in. Large clean room. Next to the freeway but unless you looked out the window you wouldn’t notice, it was a quiet room. Stores, fast food and cafes near by. Had breakfast it’s ok. Very much appreciate the 24/7 coffee service. Will return and do recommend.

Front desk service is horrible, especially Natalie. We are lifetime diamond members and have never been treated so badly at a Hilton property. Here are some examples. Quiet hours at this hotel are posted as 10pm to 6am. We complained about the room above us having kids bouncing around at midnight. Natalie’s reply: “kids will be kids, nothing I can do”. On another stay, we arrived very late at night and asked for 1 hour late checkout. The night desk clerk said he couldn’t help us. We asked Natalie in the morning and she said late checkout was not available. After further discussion Natalie said if my attitude was better she might be able to help us out. So is there a policy or it’s up to Natalie? We will be avoiding this hotel in the future.

This is our place to stay with our kids for our soccer tournaments. Been there a few times and we will continue to stay at this wonderful place. Staff is super friendly (Nathalie) front desk is super friendly, plenty of parking and their continental breakfast it’s just perfect for the whole family!

She assisted both me and my boyfriend with everything we needed and was very friendly throughout our stay. Hampton Inn & Suites in Murrieta definitely has some bragging rights to talk about. Despite that Fairfield in Menifee would have been the more convenient choice due to close proximity to the court house, I am so glad I made the right choice to stay at Hampton Inn. And, Hampton Inn cost less, had similar amenities, offered hot complimentary breakfast and did not charge for parking.

Hampton Inn & Suites had plenty of parking, a very clean and well maintained hotel, warm and inviting lobby, modern decor, good size clean rooms, many tables and chairs in the dining area to choose from, small snack shop nearby front desk, a gym, and the feeling of Christmas was everywhere. Holiday scent and decorations was a plus for me.

My first visit at this location happened last Tuesday, late afternoon. If I had to be nit-picky about service, the gentleman at front desk lacked service “manners.” Basically, no personality. He came across with a 2 star attitude. He wasn’t rude. He just did not greet, had no pleasantries, not even a smile now and then during check in. Could have been that he was new and shy or had a rough shift. Either case, he’s in the hospitality business. Where was his basics 101. He was not friendly and I would suggest he be re-trained on better customer service. Another staff was present that day too, at a later time. She was friendly and greeted me as I exited the hotel. The staff, on the following morning (during check out ), was also friendly and polite. Additionally, staff working during breakfast were also friendly. As a matter of fact, big props to the breakfast crew for putting together a clean, tidy and organized station, as well as good stocking on all food items.

Dislike: jacuzzi was inoperable

I would still rate Hampton Inn & Suites in Murrieta a 5 star despite one front desk staff who lacked in good customer service.

We checked in because the power outages in our area... but only stayed one night due to how rude the staff is. I am a diamond member that travels almost weekly so I stay in hotels frequently. Doesn't matter how nice and modern the hotel is if the people that greet you are unfriendly and rude. Kim worked the front desk at night. She is the reason why we did not stay longer and decided to go to another Hilton in Temecula until our power is back on. The beds are not comfortable. Breakfast is standard. If we ever need a local Hotel to stay in, Hampton in Murrieta will not be it.

We were charged a $75 pet fee WITHOUT being told about it. Staff rudely refused to refund, either full or partial. Admitted the check-in staff should have told us, but ….too bad (for us). Refused to stand by their room quote that they gave us at check-in of $102. I never have written a review, but this was so frustrating and insulting I felt I should. Treated very poorly.

Ruined by cigarette smoke. Many of the Hotel staff were kind. Our room was spacious and nice. The last 3 days of the stay were ruined because of the cigarette smoke that started to permeate the room. Our car smells like cigarette smoke because people smoked near the Disabled Parking area.

Would not have booked if knew there were smoking areas on the property. Was supposed to be smoke-free.
