We love our corner market - they pack an incredible amount into this relatively small space. The workers are exceptionally friendly and helpful; it's a breath of fresh air to find service of this quality. They're responsive to special requests for items that you'd like to see in stock. The seasonal produce is excellent and the price point is fair and reasonable.

Lovely lil upscale grocery/booze store.
Nice produce available and packaged deli meats (no deli counter fyi)
Lots of good quality chocolate/sweets to pick from as well as chips and other savory snacks. Can usually get fresh bread from local bakeries (even as late as 8pm on occasion).
They accept EBT 👍🏻

Very grateful for having this friendly corner market in the neighborhood. Of course prices aren’t the cheapest, but that’s the price we pay for not having a food desert where real estate and base food costs are at a premium. If you want a bargain then take 2 hours out of your day to shop at Costco or Walmart.

Everything you could want in a corner store. Fresh produce, Acme bread, beautiful flower bouquets, all your basic staples, and an excellent beer and wine selection. Since the pandemic began, I have been coming here a lot more often. They have a safe setup and there are usually not more than about 5 people in the store at any given time.

Dedicated and friendly grocers who really know their stock, and have something to meet just about any daily need. They stock high quality foods and brands, bulk dried fruits and nuts, useful produce, and an unusually great wines/beers/liquor selection for a bodega. Prices reasonable/competitive with other San Francisco natural-leaning foods shops. I lived nearby during pandemic, and appreciated their thoughtful covid protocols and always well ventilated shop too.

We rely on Harvest Hills Market for fresh, organic produce, which is usually top-notch. They have a wonderful, seasonal selection of produce, including more exotic items like Meyer lemons, persimmons, and kumquats from time to time. They have a small space, so their stock is limited at times, but they keep the shelves stocked with the staples that any neighborhood grocery needs. They carry a small selection of organic/fresh meat (chicken and beef, mostly), and an appealing variety of sausages. They also have plenty of food for those who are on a vegetarian or gluten-free diet--their selection of pasta alternatives is fantastic. What is truly notable, though, is their wine collection. They have a great selection of reds and whites, ranging from about $8 to $50/bottle. They also have a good-sized liquor selection, which they are showcasing in a recently remodeled case behind the front counter. The aisles are narrow and sometimes navigating them with a basket when there are more than a few people in the shop can be tricky. That said, Harvest Hills is an anchor in the Mission/Bernal area--we really hope it will be around for a long time!

Very convenient for the neighborhood. Tons of produce for a corner store at ok prices. Lots and lots of selection in general. Lots of interesting, unique seasonal produce.

Waaaay to pricey on everything not produce. A sign that was up in the store arguing they aren't pricey but on many items (again not produce) they are even more than double Whole Foods. Male staff isn't especially friendly for a local corner store.

This neighborhood market really is a dream come true. Of course it’s more expensive than a full grocery store but they magically have everything you could need to make or complete a meal. From produce to almond milk to nice wine. It’s one of the hidden perks of Bernal.
