It's noisy indoors. There are multiple indoor pools of different depths and warmths. The dry sauna is not crowded and is heavenly. The steam room is a little more popular but you'll definitely get your turn for enough time. The outdoor pools are more fun and intimate, though they are smaller. Staff is friendly.

We have been coming to Hellies since 1985. Lots of changes over the years but the absolutely best attraction in town. The various pool depths make it easy to manage the kids and the outdoor pool and hot tubs are wonderful. We were lucky this last visit to enjoy the outdoor areas during a snow storm-delightful!

Management was very kind, helpful and welcoming, Thank you for your help!. Loved how clean the facilities were and how the open lawn kept it from seeming so crowded. The slide was crazy fast and I couldn't keep my kid off of it! The new concession stand was great too, thank you to whoever the cutie was working behind the counter!

Maybe the state level will see this.
regarding the conditions at the teepee? I was very disappointed with my visit today. There were dangerous, rickety outside steps leading into the pool that made one feel as if they were going to fall through with every step. Honestly, why wasn't that the first thing replaced by the new concessionaire?

Disappointed; I just want better, cleaner (come on, those shower curtains—gross!), and safer options. Also, my husband said there was no hot water in the men's showers.

And one more thing why were the employees' W-2s sitting out on the desk where members sign in? Not everyone is an honest person; I'd be upset if my W-2 was sitting there for anyone to take.

I just loved this place! Well kept and clean. Hot springs state park is one of my most favorite places in the world. Highly recommended the hot springs hotel and spa and food at the safari club.

My Son and I love going here. Please smooth out the water slide. It scratches your back pretty good. It's fun, but painful.

Was there in 1994 and not a lot has changed, though the shower rooms had been completely redone and I think the roof (a huge expanse) had been replaced.. The pools are amazing though stinky. Plan on airing and washing your suits several times to get rid of the mineral smells. This is a must stop if in Thermopolis.

My daughter tried to go (she's over the age of 16) and a couple of friends (older than she is) but because none of them were over the age of 18 they couldn't go.... what 16 and 17 year olds want to hang out with their mothers or fathers at the pool while trying to hang out with friends.... I guess there truly was a reason we have never been here.
