The pastries were a little pricey, but OMG, they were so good! There is free parking across the street if the small lot closest to the stores is full. Like others mentioned, there are nice furniture stores and additional restaurants, go to the Helm's Bakery website for descriptions.

Awesome pastry and coffee, recommend the place. I didn't give the 5 Star because it was hard to have a table and dogs are not allowed inside the bakery but they can be on the patio. The place is beautiful.

Here’s our experience at the bakery Cafe..
On Wednesday November 27th we drove one hour and 14 minutes to get to this place that was recommended by a friend. When we opened the door a lady told us that they were selling only coffee at that moment due to the thanksgiving celebration the next day. We walked in to look around and all the shelves were empty while in the back of the shop the bakers were working hard baking all the goodies. The saddest part was having a great smell surrounding us while watching all that empty shop. We dove a very long distance excited to bring back home a lot of good stuff and we left empty handed! What came next? An other long drive of one hour and 35 minutes back home 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.

As it is not fully open yet, we only went to the bakery. A little disappointed cause the deli wasn't open yet. The drinks were very small in size and the selection was limited. The line for coffee was very long. The bakery was like a lot of French bakeries. They do have a grab 'n go for cold sandwiches and hot items. I would wait til it's been fully open before going. There are currently 2 sit down restaurants but the lines were very long. The parking is a challenge. The only seating for the bakery is outside.

Slick cool place to hang. With expensive stores to watch and walk around in.
$1k lounge chairs for patio, blah, blah, blah.
Food courts, food ok. I think an "Elms museum would be cooler there as an attraction. Food court sub-par.

This review is for the Cherry Pie only:

Note: I have been a Fathers Office devotee for over 20 years.

Cherry Pie: expectations were high, given the provenance and price tag ($97).

Texture: 5/5
Appearance: 5/5
Crust: 5/5
Filling Flavor: 2/5

Unfortunately, nobody in our party could detect the flavor of cherry, our favorite It was packed full of cherries, but what came through was a spice blend. It overwhelmed everything. It was one note. Look at Rock Springs Cafe in Arizona or Gifford Homestead in Capitol Reef NP, Utah, for inspiration.

Just want you to be the best, Helms. Love ya!
