Warning: Avoid High Desert Truck Stop – Scam Alert!

I strongly advise against dropping your trailer at High Desert Truck Stop. This place is part of an elaborate scam. Before dropping my trailer, I called and spoke with management. I was specifically told that they have security on-site who conducts rounds every 30 minutes to prevent theft, which made me feel somewhat comfortable leaving my trailer there. However, when I returned Tuesday morning, both of my padlocks had been cut, and part of my shipment was missing.

When I went in to ask management about what happened, they denied ever mentioning the security checks and refused to release any video footage of the area. It became clear that the security measures they promised do not exist, and they are not accountable for any theft that occurs on their property.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this truck stop – they’ll take your money but won’t take responsibility for your cargo. I will never trust this place again.

BEWARE!!! I went by to get gas yesterday with my 12 year old son yesterday between 6 and 7pm. I paid at the pump and my son wanted to go inside to buy snacks so we went in. He has a little debit card that he just got for his birthday a few days ago. He has NOT used the card anywhere. Well he used it at High Desert Truck stop last night to buy snacks. Well today, there are two large transactions from Woods Supermarket in Hesperia. We have never patronized Woods Supermarket or let alone used the card anywhere but High Desert Truck stop. There is a card skimmer stealing information inside the store. I suggest the owner check cameras and payment equipment. The employee behind the counter looked shady but who knows? Beware when using any type of card at this place.

I look in Google for Free RV dumping in high desert and this gas station was the first to show.
We went there and is $40.00 for dumping and if you want water is $10.00 extra umbelieve it is this much expensive.
Other states charge you $10.00 the most of gas stations and privet places up to $30.00 but all this prices incluids water.
Please Rv Families here is $40.00 without water.

Got fuel stolen in truck last night! Others as well. Watch out! Also small tow signs, cannot see them early morning... BE CAREFUL!! Pic of tow truck cruising the parking lot, no prices on fuel. If place clean with good amenities like big chains, can see $15.00. putting on a, "Do not stop out on our fleet".

I drive non cdl hotshot and have for almost 40 years. This is the only truckstop I have ever been to that refused me a shower because I didn't have a CDL. I have used this place religiously for several years. But myself and my truck will never bring business here again.
