This spot was recently renovated under new ownership. Smells clean. Decent selection. One star off because there are no prices displayed, and I was hoping that would be a change with the new owner. Alas!

I recently moved into the neighborhood and was hoping this would be a handy market within walking distance, but I was disappointed. It caters to the local middle schoolers, and mainly stocks candy, soda, and liquor, with a small selection of basics. No fruit or vegetables of any kind. No prices on anything. I bought a gallon of Berkeley Farms whole milk (not organic) for $7.49 out the door. I think the only reason to go here is if you live nearby and don't have a car.

Jimmy, the store owner, an Asian guy with glasses, is a scammer. He sells expired items then charges you extra! Don't trust the bread, milk, eggs, and don't even think about buying their meat - it's green and gray and smells funny! I know that inflation is bad, but they are just overpricing everything because they know they can get away with it.

Everyone keeps saying they bought two or three small items and the price came out to be $12. Yeah. It’s true. Everything is overpriced. The new owners are rude. Prices aren’t listed on products and they change depending on who’s at counter. This place was cool but now it sucks. Go to 7-eleven or anywhere else.

The reviews are true. No prices on items. I didn’t get a receipt and when I asked for a receipt I got a receipt with no prices listed. Next time I rather go hungry. Shady place. If a place is more expensive than CVS it should make you think. Do not go here.

For one, everything from the snacks to the groceries here are overpriced, no price tags on anything! And two, the owner(s) are very rude and always have been rude for the last three times I came here. I won't be coming to this place again. And also, do yourself a favor and go to the Grand St. Corner store in between Lincoln Avenue and Grand, they are friendlier and don't take customers for granted!

Fast & convenient, but pricey & one of the owners isn't the friendliest. The guy put a bag on top of my stuff, instead of bagging it... I guess I should have brought my own? Granted, maybe it's a cultural thing & not their intention to be rude (they're Korean). Still, I won't be back. The convenience isn't worth the price nor the perceived smugness.

Never trust a corner store with no prices displayed on the shelves! All I bought was a beef jerkey stick, a small bag of cheez-its, and a dasani water bottle and got charged $12!
