Hinnant Vineyards is a beautiful place to go with friends, on a date, with family, or by yourself for some reading or work. Open seven days a week. They now offer food at their bistro which is in its soft opening- call or check for hours and menu options- with NA beverage options as well as a large selection of wine ranging from dry to semi to sweet. It is the place to visit on weekends with a variety of live music artists, events, and often there are food trucks to support other local business owners as well as offer variety for customers. Design with wine art classes are being offered as well as yoga classes, their Facebook and website have the full calendar posted every month with events and happenings. 🍇🍷

Awesome winery on the Johnston County Beer Wine and Shine trail. We didn’t have to travel far to visit this winery which is a huge plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed both inside and outside which is huge! There were multiple dogs there during our visit (including ours) and the staff were friendly and welcoming with them as well. There was plenty of parking, a food truck, snacks inside, and live music on the back patio. The Raleigh Assassins were playing during our visit and it was perfect. We will absolutely be back with friends!

Enjoyed the wine tasting, loved the ones I picked. Rick bought me a bottle of my favorite to take home, oh, and a wine bottle stopper - I always need one.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Nice break o our travels home. Well nice for me. He’s the DD.

Hinnate winery is very nice, 2nd time going. I love the Dangerous Waters, wine! Absolutely one of the best! ***Taco truck was yuck. Hard and stale chips, barely any chicken or cheese on the chicken nachos. No shredded lettuce, just big chunks of iceberg lettuce. Everything was so dry. No sour cream, no salsa, hardly any cheese of any kind. Just awful. It looked really good but was not. Came home and made a dinner. Won't come again on taco afternoon. 5 stars for Hinnate, 2 stars for taco truck.

Thought you should see what a wine flight gets you before you waste 15 dollars on it. For one, they offer flights of 4 wines versus the traditional 5 that 90% of other wineries offer. Additionally, you are gonna get twice as much wine by attending a group tasting or ordering it by the glass. The second pic is another winery for comparison. Other than portions, taste was pretty good. Would go back if only getting a bottle or a glass.

Amazing vineyard! Love their juice especially. Had one sip at a state fair once and fell in love with it instantly. It’s only a dollar to get a bucket to fill with grapes, and they charge per pound. I stocked up on some juice for home here.

Service seems friendly and efficient. Ambiance is laidback and nice. It’s a getaway from suburban life.

My husband and I enjoyed our tasting experience at Hinnant. The young woman that helped with our tasting was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wine. Their wine is very reasonably priced between $12-$20 dollars. Moondance magnolia.was our favorite. We purchased a case because they offer 10% off if you purchase a case. They have a large area outside under a covered veranda where you can enjoy your wine. Today there was live music. There are some food items available. They also have flavored wine frozen slushies in peach, key lime and Pina colada. Cheese, meats, salads. It's a great winery to visit.

I must admit that it was a bit smaller than I expected. After searching online and reading over their website, I chose to visit this winery because (according to the website) they offered tours on Sat at noon. As a result I left home at 10:40 just to make sure I got there in time. However I was quite surprised to find out they weren't giving tours that Saturday. My plans would have been very different if I had known. But we made the best of it anyway by doing a wine tasting of several dry and wet wines. We ended up buying 3 bottles. Make sure you ask about the veteran's discount on the wines. We opted not to pay to pick our own grapes. It was a very peaceful winery. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs.
