Please be careful when shopping at Hoa Binh Market. Today, I found that the meat I purchased was underweight. I bought six different types of meat, and when I got home to prepare dinner, I discovered that the bag of short ribs, which was supposed to weigh over 5 pounds, was almost a pound lighter. Since I often follow recipes on YouTube that require precise measurements, I decided to weigh all the items from Hoa Binh Market. I found that most of the vegetables and meat were weighed incorrectly. When I brought my scale back to the market and confronted the manager, she refused to acknowledge the problem and claimed that my scale was inaccurate. To prove the problem, I weighed a pound of glutinous rice flour from the market, but the manager said she did not know how to use my scale. Despite proving that the market scale was inaccurate, she only agreed to refund me without offering an apology. Before leaving the market, I expressed my disappointment with her behavior and explained that I did not want to cause trouble. However, due to her insincerity, I only brought up the review to make everyone aware. She was lucky. If it had happened to someone else, the store would definitely face a lawsuit.

The supermarket has a variety of fresh produce, meat, and seafood. Their fruits are also really fresh too and the pricing is relatively low too in comparison with other markets around the area.

One thing I love about this market is that they have fresh meat baos at the cashier section, which you can just grab one for breakfast really quick.

Parking is reasonably easy to find, but it can get crowded easily since it's in the same plaza with a CVS and Starbucks.

On a side note, this place also accepts WIC if anyone is looking for it.

The guys at the seafood department really takes the time to understand which seafood
you desire. If not available, he then asks which cooking method I intend to to cook it so he can suggest an alternative. I am 100% delighted with his suggestion yesterday (3/4/23) and had a meal with seafood that my son felt in love with. He typically does not eat seafood. That type of fish is not the most expensive type too! In essence it was a double win. I have told my wife to shop there more often to support (via patronage) such a good operator. Highly recommended.

You can find reasonably priced goods either canned or fresh commodities are not expensive to compare with other Asian groceries around the area. But due to covid better go during unusual hours or go early.

The staff from the seafood station did not look at the price label and charged me a lot higher than it should be; the cashier in the customer return area was super rude, I was supposed to get some refund, but it never went back to my credit card. Don't go there, they are cheaters.

Today I just wanted to let a manager that I bought Tofu and it was spoiled. I took a picture and showed the manager but the manager did not care and not even apologize at all. Terrible Hòa Bình Supermarket customer service!

They sell sick vegetables.
This is not a first time.
Price is cheap, but you have throw almost half of vegetables away , that means you end up paying more.
Not buying their vegetables again.

Average size market but have some good quality merchandise, we usually buy Jackfruits, coconut water and some dried fruits there, parking are plenty, staffs are okay
