So this is a tough post. I love supporting my community and small businesses however the man who was working as the cook was extremely aggressive towards the women working the front. He called them children and said said he was very angry at them. At a time where is getting less and less welcoming for women to exist this was incredibly upsetting to hear and see as a customer. Unsure if I’ll be back

The wait staff is absolutely lovely, but everything else points to absentee management of the worst kind. Their menu is dreadful: think BJ's bagels. In the past, it was frequently filthy, like you-stick-to-the-tables and please-don't-look-at-the-floor filthy. I try not to go in anymore, so who knows about this minute? They renovated a bit ago, and it still looks crass. What is most infuriating about this place is their slovenly attitude toward contact. Their "website" is a name, address and telephone number. That's it. The phone's mailbox is full, and doesn't even have a message. God, Swarthmore needs a better café!

Lovely old-school atmosphere, except it was crowded and noisy. Also, we couldn't get an internet connection through the wifi. The food was good, but the menu was limited. Service was good, but there was no table service.

Used to be one of my favorite places go... Been out of the area for a while, I was very excited to get a breakfast sandwich here... Things have obviously changed. My sandwich was full of disgusting char. It literally was not even edible. Nowhere near the quality they used to be, plus the prices went up significantly. I have seen throw up more appetizing than this. Waste of my time and money. Very disappointed.

The coffee was bland in flavor and seemed watered down. They only have bagel based sandwiches I believe and a few scones/coffee cakes. The atmosphere, a lot of people sitting around with books and laptops. It doesnt seem pedestrian friendly for someone just wanting a bite and drink. Speaking of which, i was there round lunchtime and the cashier was nice enough, but let the customer in front of me talk for over AFTER ordering. Not cool for those with places to see, things to do. It had a real sesame street vibe to it, as if they let a bunch of kids play "worker" for fun. I gave it a token star for the "take out" option, and most locals wouldnt recognize good coffee if they drowned in it.

Loved it! Was traveling through the area and this little coffee shop caught my eye. The team was very friendly, the cold brew was just how I like it, and the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich was delicious! Would definitely come back!!

Reading the negative reviews and it seems I’m not alone. I walk up to the counter and I just get stared at, not a hello or good morning. Starbucks employees muster up a greeting at least. This has happened more than once and I was trying to give them a chance but no. I don’t know who is responsible for hiring but they must train or hire more pleasant people. These are the same people that want you to tip after giving you attitude and acting as if you’re bothering them.

You go here for a coffee and a small bite. Don't expect anything outrageous foodwise, but it's all ok. Meet up with a friend and chat inside or out. It can get busy with loud music inside. Mostly students and local villagers attend.
