I’d say this is more of a gift shop than a jewelry store, although they do have a good collection of lovely jewelry. They have a nice assortment of cute and funny cards to choose from. There are so many cute decorative items and functional items. And of course the cute, friendly dogs that greet you!

I came here with my girlfriend last week to buy a few gifts for our friends birthday. We had a charming experience and checked out a selection of super funny greeting cards trinkets and a really awesome selection of jewelry. The owner was very friendly, cool and down to earth.

I’m thinking this person who left a two star review was being a bit unkind in her feedback imo and I certainly hope she gives them another shot because the store is really awesome!

I found a pillow embroidered with flowers that gives me lots of joy and a beautiful bracelet that is Pyrenees dog approved.

Homebody is like a quirky little museum, and the owner, Kate, is an its incredible curator. If your sense of humor tends towards the offbeat or macabre, and you don't clutch your pearls when you hear a bit of cursing, you will fall in love with this place. If you're a dog person you may never leave, the shop dogs are incredibly sweet and friendly. Ask the UPS guy who gets kiss-attacked every day.

If you have a lady in your life who likes gifts... This is a great place to find those things. Especially if she's a bit of an oddball. I come here for these great ceramic necklaces in the shape of a slice of pizza.

There are two resident dogs and they are big old sweethearts, too.

Walked in today to return some items (this store is also a Happy Returns spot) but ended up buying a couple of pieces of jewelry. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, walked me through different options catered to what I was looking for but was never pushy. I highly recommend this establishment, it's always a pleasure finding good local small businesses in the neighborhood. The owner's dog is a major plus.

Cute little store where I picked up some last-minute Mother's Day gifts :). They house quirky items from creative greeting cards to notebooks with the title "people I want to punch in the face". Recommended if you are looking for unique presents in the South Slope area.
