I stumbled upon this gem. It’s cozy with a warm color palette, comfortable seating, and soft textures. It has a welcoming ambiance, pleasant lighting and friendly staff. The room was very clean, equipped with modern amenities and a small refrigerator. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Close to beach and restaurants.

It was my first vacation with my significant other and I don’t have a single complaint. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was completely clean and I loved every second of our stay. It was hard to leave! But we will be returning shortly. 🙂 This hotel is amazing!

Rooms were clean, staff was fine but the amenities are non-existent. Our room didn’t even have a coffee maker. This place is right next to the highway and traffic noise is considerable. There is also nothing around besides a small greasy spoon diner. If you need a restful night I would not recommend this place.

We loved our stay! We travelled with two 14 year olds. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff was easy to contact leading up to our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed. The California shutters and Papaya soaps gave a beach feel! There was a cute cafe and convenience store almost across the street. A few restaurants in the area. We walked to our whale watching tour and were minutes from our kayak tour. The location is close to Santa Cruz and Monterey but quiet and low key. We hope we get a chance to come back!

Bathroom wasn’t clean and there were no bath towels. Discovered this at 7 am while getting ready to leave. No one at front desk, no answer to initial calls. Can hear Joel Osteen blaring from the office but not a soul in sight. Did talk to an offsite person who directed me to a supply closet where I retrieved some towels. Check in the night before was unfriendly and almost hostile. No coffee, no water. Room was freezing, heater was extremely loud. It looks cute and probably could be nice, but was not an enjoyable stay. Cool location, that’s all that’s positive for my stay.

We stayed here for a brief few days to take advantage of the nice weather. We found this place to be very quiet, extremely clean! It was quite comfortable, beds were plush enough to get a good night's sleep. Just a few steps away is a little breakfast/lunch place that has great breakfasts, and wonderful fried artichokes from Castro, artichoke capital. We will definitely stay here when heading to Monterey again.

150 $ a night for two people. The coffee machine in the lobby had great drinks. Very clean room. Many towels and a nice bathtub with hot water. Check-in was easy over the phone. If your room is on the eastside, there is some traffic noise from 101, but it was acceptable. I would definitely come again!

The room size was good. Furnishings were sparse. The arm chair was dirty-wouldn’t sit on it. The bathroom was nicely done, but most of the towels and washcloths had stains on them. Not very enticing. The carpet also needed some cleaning. ||Location was alright, although it is directly on Highway 1, which is a very busy and noisy roadway. ||There was no staff person onsite in the morning for check outs. Just drop your keys and leave.
