**Positive Aspects:**

**Areas for Improvement:**

* **Wine Happy Hour:** The wine happy hour's offerings could be enhanced. The current selection of cheese squares and crackers with two wine options (red and white) lacks variety and creativity. A more diverse menu, such as an assortment of cured meats, would be more appealing to guests.
* **Outdated Decor:** While the rooms are comfortable, they could benefit from an upgrade to modernize and enhance their ambiance. Carpeting, while still a common feature, may not be the most contemporary choice.

Stayed here and it was a very enjoyable stay. It a small boutique hotel. The room was bigger than I expected, a little dated but nice. 2 queens, a bathroom and a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. We used the hot tub which was a short walk from our room.

The breakfast was delicious and not your typical free hotel breakfast. We ate outside on the small adjacent terrace.

There aren't many things within a walkable distance from this hotel but that's ok we easily caught an Uber. There is a nearby convenience store and gas station about a block away.

The staff was amazing and definitely the highlight of this property. Everyone was so very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

very nice room with balcony to a beautiful garden. Reading the reviews, I thought that everyone gets a champagne as a welcome gift, which is not the case. I suppose it depends on the room. The shower was just perfect. Great location - maybe 15min by foot to the beach and very close to state street. The staff was lovely and they even had a luggage storage - thank you for that!
Hardly found a parking slot, but we did (free of charge). Breakfast was simple, but one of the best we had on our roadtrip so far.

Hi this is a small quaint hotel, very clean, recently refurbished. They provide a good complementary breakfast and at 4.30 pm wine and cheese. Coffee in the lobby all day. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Big shout out for concierge Micky who was amazingly helpful. We had a small child with us and the hotel suited us perfectly. 5 minutes walk to the beach , a small park and a 50 Metre swimming pool near by. |There are a huge amount of great restaurants which are all close by. I’ve definitely stay here again great value for money

We had an amazing stay here! The amenities are great- the continental breakfast had a variety of sweet and savory options, the happy hour was refreshing, and the coffee was always good. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We took advantage of the free bike and DVD rentals. The hotel itself was lovely, from the gardens to the patio to the room furnishings. Would totally recommend and would love to stay here again!

We had a large room with a full kitchen. A bit larger than needed but was well appointed and clean. Location was good for Santa Barbara activities. A small breakfast was included and was OK, not special. Plants and trees around the property were beautiful. Recommended.

Cute hotel. ||When I first pulled up I was shocked for the price as it resembled a dated motel in a not very desirable part of town. It’s not BAD (still in Santa Barbara after all), can walk to everything but a bit out of the way. ||Once inside the room, I was pleased. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Not sure they should call themselves a 3 star property as there is no elevator. ||I walked to state street. I felt safe in the afternoon but wouldn’t walk alone at night due to homeless population.||Room itself was nice, with the kitchenette fully functional and comfortable beds. Was very clean.

Only stayed one night so we were slightly closer to LA for our flight the next day. We had a round on the ground floor which had everything we needed, even a full sized kitchen. Bed was a little small but comfy. ||It was walkable down to the sea front and Stern’s Wharf. We ended up driving to see the rest of Santa Barbara the next morning as we were short of time but nothing is too much of a drive. ||Breakfast was average, not lots of room to sit either but you could always take it back to the room. ||The hot tub was nice to use after a long day too.
