Jaunt Coffee is a great find in an unexpected spot. It’s located in a warehouse strip mall which was interesting. Inside, it’s cozy and welcoming, and they have a nice outdoor seating area too. It’s perfect if you want to bring your dog and enjoy some fresh air while having coffee. The coffee is really good, and the place has a relaxed, friendly feel. Just be aware that parking is limited, and we had to circle around a bit to find a spot. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in San Diego!

Today was my first visit here, and I’m so glad I came! Hannah, the sweetest young lady, took my order with a big smile. I went for the Caramel Black Salt Latte, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint (I couldn't resist taking a sip before snapping a pic!). Coffee was on point! My cortado was strong and creamy. It was delicious!

Honestly it took me waaaaaay too long to decide what I was going to order. Everything sounded so good. There were so many holiday drinks to choose from as well.

They also have pastries, empanadas and burritos. My friend got a pastry and really liked it.

We came when they were really busy. The line was to the door, but even though it took a while to put your order in, the service was wonderful. I'd not hesitate to come back again, especially because I need to try all the other stuff on the menu.

A favorite. Sadly, it’s not one that I visit very often as it’s not within my normal stomping grounds. Love the simple, clean, inviting layout and decor. They get crazy busy, but the staff is quick at filling orders and they remain friendly throughout the rush. Ordered their spiced cold brew, lavender latte and matcha. The cold brew was strong, but not bitter. The latte didn’t taste like soap which sometimes happens with lavender flavoring. The matcha was good quality and didn’t taste like dirt. All the drinks were just balanced. Paid $22 for everything which I think is reasonable.

Super cute hidden gem. From the moment we got our food and sat down. The line and the crowd just did not stop for a Saturday morning. I love the beef empanada and my Hazelnut Vanilla Latte. It is so pretty with the latte art that I didn't even want to drink it. The only empanada that I won't recommend is the ham and cheese, it looks very hollow in there compared to the beef one.

You have spoiled me for all other Chai lattes, Jaunt! Friendly & knowledgeable baristas make the top notch drinks at this craft coffee cafe shine. I limit myself to one jaunt a week - but I’m already counting the days…

Cool vibe with great coffee. The mushroom empanada was very flavorful. The nitro cold brew was slightly more bitter than I like but still has good mouth feel.

Their coffee selection stands out, offering unique flavors like hazelnut, vanilla, and lavender alongside excellent traditional options like lattes and macchiatos. Coffee enthusiasts will also appreciate their selection of beans and merchandise available for purchase.

The food is another highlight, with a menu featuring croissants, burritos, and, most impressively, empanadas—a rare and delightful find for a breakfast spot in the area. Options like beef, chicken, ham, and cheese are popular, and the empanadas are kept hot and crispy in the oven, ensuring they’re always fresh and satisfying.

The staff here are exceptional, going above and beyond to deliver great service. When I accidentally spilled my drink, they quickly cleaned up and even remade it for me—service like this makes all the difference.

Jaunt also offers creative seasonal drinks throughout the year. The summer Ube Cream Cold Brew is a refreshing treat, while the winter Bunny Kitty Cold Brew, topped with matcha foam and sprinkles, is a fun and festive twist. During the holidays, the store is beautifully decorated with themed lights, Santa’s sleigh, and even a Santa mailbox, adding a warm and cheerful touch to the experience.

The spot has an outside dining area which is dog-friendly. It's quite common to see the cute puppies at the area.

With its excellent coffee, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, Jaunt Coffee Roasters is a neighborhood gem that’s worth the wait every time.
