Oh my goodness! I am so happy that I was told about this place! I've not been to a meat market every (only grocery store) and I was blown away by how fresh the meat looked and the variety! Bought bacon & am hooked. Bought steak and so good. Bought pork belly which really looked great albeit frozen which I put in the freezer & will wait to use at a later date! Will definately be back for my meats. The people and owner was so kind and pleasant as well. Big deal to me.

Best butcher and meat market around. Family operated. Prices are not only reasonable but cheaper than chain supermarkets.
FYI, you talk to a butcher. Tell them what you want to do. Meatloaf, outdoor steaks, roast, dinner sausage, breakfast meats. Then they give you advice on type of meat, amount of fat, good suggestions for yout needs.
Truly a field to plate butcher.
Plan ahead. They also have spices and ingredients you might need. Ready made sausage or ingredients to make your own.

Stopped in the other day just to check it out. The younger guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Bought a smoked pork chops and some chicken. The smoked pork chop was delicious. Will be stopping in again. Thanks

We love going to Johnstons to get our fresh cut meats. I like that it is family owned, and this will always be my got to for meat.the quality of the meat is so much better than that of chain stores.

We absolutely love this place. We found it one year on vacation and now it's an annual stop. Ask Mr Johnston to make your some breakfast sausage! It is THE BEST.
