Visited this store four times in the last year. At all times the attendants were friendly, helpful, giving me suggestions regarding different beverages. Pricing was fair and consistent with all of my purchases. Found some items I could not locate elsewhere. The chemistry between buyer and seller is always in flux. I was always made to feel welcome. Would recommend this store and will patronize again.

Came here to write a scathing review and read through the other reviews of this place. I was refused service despite being 25 years old, which I'm learning is common practice at "Jolly" King's Liquor. I provided both a CA driver's license and a federal passport as proof. While I understand every business has the right to refuse service for any reason, I find it irresponsible practice to regularly refuse service to customers based on profiling. The woman at the counter had an attitude from the moment I walked in, I guess that's why she can only find employment at what I can only assume is her father's store - probably does not interview well. Go literally anywhere else.

Please do not shop here AK. Please do not shop here. The owner is either racist or just doesn’t know how to check IDs I’m literally 23 years old trying to buy something and this guy is over here acting like he scared refusing which is kind of odd because I literally presented him so many information with the exact info on my ID which I don’t get. I know the owner of Ali’s liquors that makes more money than this place plus there’s no problem there and I get sold anything I want no matter what time of day plus I can go to any other store and buy whatever I want with no problem except for this only store jolly’s lame store what’s going on. So I’m not too worried about that. Also it’s the Indian guy he don’t know how to do his job as a manger or whatever he his hopefully he loses business

Extremely rude/unpleasant behavior.

The selection was decent, but the owner's (guy manning the shop) attitude ruined any desire I had to actually look for something good.

The guy seemed in a bad mood as soon as I entered, and glared at me the entire time I was bowsing. He seemed especially annoyed when I looked at some liquor reviews on my phone.

I ended up only getting a few airplane bottles as I didn't feel like giving him any more of my money. When he was getting the bottles he was again, extremely unprofessional about it.

After I paid I said "thank you" and he just grunted and turned his back.

This wasn't the first time the guy's been unpleasant, but it was the most blatant. Just go to another shop where the people can manage to be civil.

Rented a keg of trumer from them...great value (better than Bevmo when you consider the tap rental) and easy to work with. Will get keg's from them again in the future.
