We rented gear for myself and my two boys this Christmas. After checking prices online, they were cheaper across the board then some other places we've rented at in Mammoth. The staff was super kind, and I ended up looking for new boots. Michael fitted me for a pair of boots and he was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating for my feet. He spent hours making sure everything fitted correctly, which included modifying my boot to accommodate a foot issue. This was all on new years eve! Can't say enough positive things about the entire staff, especially Michael. Excellent customer service with great prices.

I’ve never experienced such rude behavior in a shop before. The girl at the counter was outright aggressive when I asked a simple question, acting like I had offended her just by speaking. Her tone was hostile, and it felt like she went out of her way to be rude. This kind of treatment is unacceptable for a business that relies on customers. Stay away if you value decent service—this place clearly doesn’t.

Brought my girlfriends skis for a quick de-burr, wax and repair of some delaminating. They got it done in a speedy fashion and affordable. Friendly service and smiles all around. Highly recommend

My daughter trains with the Mammoth Ski Team and spends most weekends on the slopes. Early in the 23/24 season, one of her toes turned black and blue. Her pediatricians were concerned it might be broken and recommended x-rays.

We stopped by Kittredge Sports to check her boots and were lucky to meet Tom, the owner. He quickly assessed the issue, grabbed a pair of Superfeet Blue inserts, customized them to fit her boots, and said she’d be fine. Sure enough, the bruising healed, the pain disappeared, and we didn’t even need to buy new boots.

Tom is a legend who has been helping the Mammoth Ski Team for years. Highly recommend Kittredge Sports for their expertise and selection!

Adventure 3000

Unfortunately didn't have the best experience at Kittredge. Stopped by to buy a tent while passing through mammoth because mine had been damaged the night before. The staff was very helpful, but I ended up buying a Wenzel 4 person tent that the sales person said was a great tent and that they had never had a return on this brand...well tonight when I opened up my tent it had very clearly been used and was missing some parts. I am too far to turn back and exchange it so I'm out $110 for a USED tent. Not sure why a used product was put back on the shelf or not checked to make sure it was complete. The tent was dirty also. Luckily I parted together one whole tent with my old and new parts. Really liked the store and staff, but they let me and my wife down on this one big time.

Huge shoutout to Brian for making our backpacking trip an incredible experience! We were advised to stop by here to get topo maps and Brian set us up with all the local knowledge, best lakes and best fishing recommendations and gear. We had an incredible 10 day trip and went places I never would have thought of. Thanks for giving my nephew and me a trip we will never forget!
