For someone who is trying to join the Catholic Church as an adult, I find my visits to this shop to be very helpful. I always leave the place happy as can be, holding onto my rosary or bracelet or whatever I might have purchased. They are very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information about the Catholic faith and even how to pray the rosary. I love this store!

I always go here to buy the Catholic goods that I need, such as scapulars, rosaries and medals. There's a wide array of statues and Catholic gifts you can purchase. They also have books such as the Rule of St. Benedict, the Imitation of Christ, the 15 Prayers of St. Bridget and a couple of the Little Offices (like the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary). If the book you are looking for is not there, they can order for you. I like going here because it is the closest Catholic bookstore to me, and it's a family run business. The bookstore owner is very devout, friendly and helpful, and was very good at answering any questions I've had.

I shared a very personal experience and whether or not the words spoken by the store owner were meant to be hurtful, the fact is that they did hurt me.

I took down my last review after the owner or family member of the owner reached out to my family threatening us (including referring to us as “bums” and “nasty”) for sharing that story on google for others to see. After some meditation and prayer I realized that I did the right thing by sharing the story , after being called what I interpreted as a racial slur, with google reviews.

I hope the owner and the family find happiness and realize that words hurt and threats are not the answer when someone says something you disagree with.
