This review is about my own experience. Employees were kind and there were a lot of different food options. We ordered menudo (~$7) and tostilocos ($5.50). The woman making the tostilocos was kind enough to customize my tostilocos to include Valentina and tapatio to my exact liking. The cucumbers and jicama used in the tostilocos were fresh and flavorful. It was the standard filling portion. The menudo was good and included a lot of meat.

I went to buy meat and told the cashier that the meat had flies 🤮 and it was unsanitary and she said that they were getting it fixed soon. 🤢 Then when I went to pay, I handed her a $20 bill and she turned around and drenched my bill in water and started ripping my bill. 😡 I guess she was salty after calling her out for the flies 🤷🏻‍♀️ and she started saying my bill was fake. I told her to check with the counterfeit pen but she said the water was more effective. 🤷🏻‍♀️
She ended up saying she doesn’t take “wrinkled bills” or with markings 😒
I left with a $20 bill torn in half and wet.
All in all, stay away if your bill looks wrinkled 😒😒😒😒

It was the cashier with cross-eyes and red curly hair.

This market has been my favorite and #1 go to market if you need something quick. The ladies always keep the check out line going fast and the guys on the meat department are Very Very Polite. They are always stocked, plus they got Water to fill up your water gallons including Alkaline water. They also have sandwiches, tortas, fruit, raspados, chilli cheese chips and alot more stuff. I totally recommend this market for everyone not only for the quality of the items sold here or the way they keep the store looking clean but specially for the great vibes the owners have and make you feel welcomed.

Theres a cashier that works here that doesn't give you the right change. Make sure you check your change because it's happened at least 3 times the lady "forgets" a dollar or two. The meat is good I buy the beef and pork here sometimes but it's not the best. The prices are ok but the produce is one of the worst I've seen. The lettuce as well as anything leafy is not the freshest. The avocados are crazy expensive here. There are cheaper places to go. They also have a small snack bar that sells good raspados but they take forever making them.

Beware of the post that says that the cashier rip the $20 bill by Carlos Ventura... This is the exact same comments posted on Yelp by Lisbeth A. Both of these post are exactly the same & posted within the same time frame.

Small local market. I've work in the produce business for several years and would never buy produce here.
I only come for the escites cup (corn, butter, cheese). They seem to have a lot of traffic with customers shopping for single items.
