Good place to stay. My husband and recently stayed here (November 2024) for a week while visiting our son and this hotel was the closest property to him. We had a standard King bed room. The room was clean and had all amenities. The bed was comfortable. It was nice that the hotel offered a basic breakfast for those that may have wanted it and they also sell water, pop, wine and snacks. What was really nice was having room service every day to clean room and supply fresh towels. Front desk staff always pleasant !The only reason I didn’t it rate this 5 stars is like others have said the walls are tissue paper thin and we could always hear our neighbours very clearly and if their tv was in we heard that loudly as well. Some nights the noise lasted until midnight.Other nights were okay but then noise early in the morning.

Stayed here for a week at end of November 2024 with my husband. We were in town to visit our son and this was closest hotel to him. We had standard king bed room. Room was clean, had enough amenities,towels etc. and bed was comfortable. There was a small gym we used which was clean. Also hotel provided breakfast with basic fare and two hot items. We only ate the breakfast once but it was fine. Check in staff were always polite and friendly. The only negative and the reason we gave this four instead of five stars is the walls have no noise barriers between rooms and we could always hear our neighbours quietly loudly through the walls ( and also their televisions if they had them on) . We actually heard our neighbour snoring right through the walls 2 nights in a row. Luckily for us we were up late most of the nights so that by the time we were ready to sleep the noisy neighbours were winding down. If we were early to bed people it would have been a disaster.

Easy to get to San Jose or Santa Cruz giving you both beach and big city options. The rooms are always clean and it’s so nice to find a clean hotel that is easy about bringing my little dog.

I decided to give the La Quinta a try due to its combination of reasonable price and good reviews. Location wise, the hotel is nicely situated about halfway between San Francisco and Pinnacles National Park. It was easy to access from the 101 and had enough casual dining options nearby that you could find something quick and affordable; I also appreciated that Trader Joe’s was just a few minutes away. The staff overall was friendly, especially the woman in charge of breakfast. I was impressed with the variety of food offered at breakfast, though some of the offerings like bagels and muffins were a bit stale. One thing that left a negative opinion was the location's early check-in fee; I initially arrived a little after 1:30 and was told I couldn’t access my room until 2:00 without paying a $40 fee, which was frustrating given the fact that, per the front desk agent, the room was admittedly ready. I travel a lot and I’ve never encountered similar at any of the major chains, so I’ll be honest that I found this off-putting and it didn’t make a good first impression; the fee felt like a way to try and force my hand since I was on a tight schedule.||The room itself was sufficient for a short trip; I’m not sure if it was the quality of the mattress or if I was just tired after a long day of travel, but I found the bed to be extremely comfortable! It looks like it’s been a little while since the rooms have been renovated, as evidenced by the large rip in the sheer curtain and some fraying carpet; nevertheless, the room was clean overall. Two things are worth noting about the rooms: (1) the walls are quite thin with neighboring rooms easily heard and (2) none of the local channels - ABC, NBC, etc. - worked on the TV and they also weren’t included on the guide channel. It seemed odd to me that the hotel wouldn’t offer guests local news / major networks. Overall, I think this property is a nice option for an overnight stop and would keep La Quintas in mind for the future; if I could give half stars this hotel would be closer to a 3.5, but the $40 fee gimmick left a sour taste in my mouth.

The room was clean, and the black out curtains were a welcome addition. It was also quiet. Breakfast included good selection and coffee!
On my last day, I checked out and forgot some items in the room. Christine at the front desk was very accommodating and provided a new access key.
She was professional and thanked me for staying at La Quinta. I definitely recommend this hotel in Morgan Hill, CA.

Everything was perfect! Will definitely stay here again. 15 minutes away from Premium Outlet Mall In Gilroy. Great breakfast choices. Comfortable bed. Huge shower. Easy highway access. Friendly staff. 45 minutes from the beach, had a comfortable stay.

We stayed here to get a head start on the journey from San Francisco to Pinnacles after our flight. The room was very spacious, the lady at check-in was friendly, and our night's stay was very comfortable. The beds are huge, and I was really pleased to see proper shampoo and conditioner in the shower! Plenty of towels as well, which can often be hit and miss. The room also included a hairdryer. A modest breakfast choice, but did the job.

Perfect location for our destination. Also great that we could bring our small dog without extra charges. This was one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel and we will stay here again for that reason (appreciate the grass area and dog-mess station). The staff was very friendly and professional. While not "fancy," LaQuinta was clean and complementary breakfast was more than adequate. Parking was easy. Thank you for a nice stay.
