Its been years since I've shopped here. Came for Too Good To Go and was reminded what a great place it was. Definitely coming back for their salad bar! Looking forward to rediscovering this store for some healthy eating.

I don't shop here often. The main reason I wanted to do this post is to share a picture of their hot bar menu. I've tried it now about three times and have been pleased. It's a nice change for lunch from all of the other places around here.

Lassens is a great store that my family and I have shopped at for years. They have lots of great healthy options and tons of substitutes/alternatives to most items found everywhere else. Things can be a bit expensive here is the only complaint. Store is tucked away off of Main Street in Ventura. Has nice fruit trees out front. Inside the store is nicely setup and it’s fairly simple to find whatever you’re shopping for. You can get lots of great all natural homeopathic remedies & medicines here where you can’t find elsewhere easily. The also have a great drink selection. Final thing is they make great food and shakes/drinks on site you can sit down in a dining area and enjoy. The happy cacao with maca and they have super good breakfast burritos here. Really good vegan options that taste super good too. Recommend stopping in and checking out Lassens when you get a chance, you’ll be pleasantly surprised and find some great stuff for you and your family.

The woman behind the juice counter with glasses is just demoralizing with micro aggression at its finest. She doesn’t make any of the smoothies with love, very direct, not very friendly, it’s super off putting. But then she smiles at her co workers but her mood completely shifts when speaking to customers. The Lassens signature smoothie had no flavor. Then when she was making a wellness shot, instead of pouring it in the cup when she was done making it, she instead left it there and took on 5 additional tasks when she could have just finished it up and given it to me. The service industry does not exist in Lassens. While they do serve healthy food, their social interactions are toxic.

We love this store! As others have shared, it’s super expensive (see my pics) but amazing quality.
I wish that all food was like Lassen’s. They have such great quality!
If you’re looking for organic food this is your store! We primarily come here to get organic eggs. They have a huge variety to choose from.
I’m very impressed with the selection that Lassen’s carries. You can get your vitamins here, ice cream, produce, meat and milk.
The store is always clean. As a neat freak I highly appreciate how clean the store is.

Customer service for deli department is just bad. They don’t acknowledge me when I’m there and I even say hello to them but they completely ignore me and act as if I’m not there. I usually order over the phone to pick up so I wait by the pick up station and they simply don’t care to help me. The girl working there called out someone else’s name right in front of me, saw me and then just ignored me lol. It’s ridiculous. All you have to do is say “I’ll be right with you”. At least. I walked out cause it’s an overpriced burrito anyway. Oh well. Whatever.

I was used to do all my shopping here. Not coming back. Couldn't find organic products...at lassens !! Like jerky beef and other stuff. They also heavy promote use of single use plastic. No more.

The place has all health/organic type stuff.From food to vitamins. The store is small and so is the 21 year old mgr .Rude as can be,(all the mgrs)were rude actually..go to Sprouts for health items
