We live a few blocks from Laurel Hill Cemetery which is a treat to get to explore on a daily basis. Between the history, sights, peacefulness, calmness the cemetery overlooking Kelley Drive and the trails bring it is truly magnificent. The walks, runs and views are highly recommended. Thank you for the treasures!

Went to Laurel Hill for a few minutes between rowing races on the Schuylkill River just below. It was a welcome respite from a hectic day. Such a peaceful place.

What a beautiful and profound place to visit. The grounds are very well kept and it is a quiet place to walk, learn, reflect and explore. I have been there to check it out with family, and to sit and paint. The energy felt calm to me. I can't wait to go back!

What a perfect event! The musicians were absolutely incredible, not to mention funny and charming. Their musical set was a great combination of pop cultural and classic pieces, and every number was beautiful in its own way. I had chills so many times!

Candlelight created a slightly spooky, but mostly just charming ambience in beautiful Laurel Hill and the whole event was very organized and well-thought out. I’m looking forward to attending other Candlelight events in the future. Thanks for such a wonderful birthday celebration!

Laurel Hill Cemetery is beautiful and filled with so much history. I have wanted to explore this Cemetery for a very long time. There is so much to explore, one day is not enough. It is open 7am to 7pm. I will be coming back to this landmark in Philadelphia.

If you are interested in history, famous people or just like to walk through cemeteries this is the best cemetery for that. They offer specific tours on famous Philly people, military people entertainers writer's scientists and more. They hold a masquerade ball and other events. This day we were here for The Market of The Macabre which offered creations and wares from creative people offering up candles lotions jewelry decorations the weird the odd the unusual the Macabre and all those other Halloween delights. We enjoyed looking at the stuff and conversing with the owners about their creations. Plenty of port of potties but they could have a few more food options the lines were long and it was a bit warm.

Such a beautiful place. This cemetery is very well kept and beautiful. They have wonderful programs, concert events, movie nights and more. It is truly a magical gift in historic Philadelphia.
