I learned the hard way.
Len Collective seems like a great place to buy gifts, it used to be my go-to for unique stuff. If you decide to buy from Len Collective, I highly suggest only buying something you're 110% sure on or things that have packaging with a clear seal. Recently I bought a linen spray, and some skin products as a gift for my wife. In total, it was only $150, not expensive or anything. Len Co included a gift recipt with the gift bag and told me that she would be able to return anything if it were unopened. My wife didn't like the linen spray and we tried to return it. But, even though it didn't come with any seal or packaging, was straight off the shelf exactly how it was purchased, they insisted it was 'opened' and therefor they would not accept it. No exchange for a preferred scent, no store credit, nothing.

I try to support local small businesses as a rule. But I draw the line when businesses are dishonest or simply are too desperate to follow their own policies.
Bottom line, Len Collective does not give their customers any benefit of doubt. Even if you are a loyal return customer, to them, if the item you buy has no packaging at the time of purchase, you're buying it 'opened' and they do not disclose that nuance nor do they have it posted.

This shop was a lovely surprise on a trip up to Northern California. Stopped in SLO for lunch and happened to walk into this shop. My favorite stores are always unique, women owned, small businesses that have special small brands and designers, and this was exactly it! Women designers, all unique and special jewelry as well as an assortment of other gifts. They have a huge range of prices to meet various budgets, and there is something for everyone. Piece after piece was incredibly stunning and I am obsessed with their selection. I plan on stopping here every time I drive through SLO as well as ordering on their website!

This is my favorite store to visit in San Luis Obispo! Their selection of jewelry and accessories is really unique and reasonably priced. The atmosphere inside the store makes you want to stay and explore every item available. Their customer service is great and they stand behind every purchase. I look forward to my yearly trip to California and treat myself to a piece of jewelry from Len Collective.
