Bought some fresh ground allspice, I use it in a family recipe and love it, reasonable price, and done there on location. The person helping us was so nice, she was so nice to talk to and informative, love the description labels that her daughter did. The place smells amazing, lots to see in a small local shop and good vibe, definitely will be back and recommend you check those place out. Spices, teas and hot chocolates!

I've been going to their stores for over 5 years; this place is second to none.. They mill all the items they sell.. At this time the only location open to customers is their location in Tiburon, which I made a trip for today, but you can always do mail order.. there are spice shops in Sacramento, but the local spicery has things others don't, like my husband's favorite chipotle salt

I hope they reopen soon. My daughter purchased an assortment of spices for gumbo and said it was beyond delicious because of the amazing spices. We want to purchase spices for some Mexican recipes we plan to try.
