Terrific experience! Highly recommend this bookstore, to call it a bookstore is an underrating for sure. If you go in, and truly receive what is there to be offered to you, you will be amazed. enjoyed the singing bowls while I was there. Leslie played them for me, and I played them as well. I walked away with a wonderful book on fermenting, a beautiful little ring as a keepsake for my visit to Monterey and an experience that I cannot begin to put into words. A truly emotionally healing moment as I met two random shoppers while in there with Leslie. I will definitely be going back every time I am in Monterey😁!

My favorite shopping experience during our trip to the coast was at this store! My family really enjoyed it too! They were so nice and helpful. I was really happy with all the different items in this store. I bought a beautiful book some great smelling sage, an equally great bottle of lavender spray, a tiny music box (the shop owner told me she had just ordered even more!) a ring, a few gemstones and crystals, and a journal.

Nice selection of Tibetan singing bowls too! Lovely to play them in the store.
100% chance I'm visiting Luminata Books and Gifts again the next time we're in town!

We always love visiting the super cute bookstore when we’re in town! My wife and I stopped by and I couldn’t think of the name of the book and the owner went to such great links to track it down for me! She was such a lovely lady and we ended up spending 30 minutes just chatting with her. By the way, the book was called the impersonal life.
