Really love this little neighborhood market. Family owned and very nice folks. Great place for snacks as well as grocery items needed in a pinch without having to go to one of the large chain stores. Prices in line with the convenience of having it local and close to home as well as being close to the school where our little ones go.

Have been going to Mariposa market since 1975 and still shop there so they must be doing something right...

The current owner Val has been there at least since 1996 when I moved back to the old neighborhood she has always been been very kind and helpful...

This is a super cool, quaint lil market. They always have everything I need. I consistently encounter really friendly.

It's my opinion we need to frequent these type of businesses. It's possible that before long, we may not have a unique old school store to choose from. The takeover is real. Peace. \m/ \m/

Every time we go to this store and use a debit card they charge $2.00 more than what is on the register. I don't catch it until I'm checking my bank account and this has happen every time, but I thought it was a mistake they made. It's not a mistake and this will be the last time we go to this store. They think they are getting over on all us, wait to more people figure out that they are not paying what is on the register, It's always a little more!!

Why does no one talk about how the people here hate the customers? They say a 3 pack of 24oz Budweiser is 5.99 and yet it’s 9.50 out the door. That’s more than a 50% tax. Anyone who pays attention to this will realize that this place should go in front of the Better Business Bureau, good think I have already submitted multiple claims. They will fall. Like all liars and cheats will. Good bye Mariposa Market/ Liquor. Should have been better to the people you serve. Got to love the power of Go Pro.

This place is just ok. Prices are way to high on everything. Place smells like bums pee in there regularly. They are very convenient which is nice but they try to rip you off at the register pretty often. They charge for your card which they don't offer credit I think for this reason then add tax to the debit charge. I've walked out a few times because of price diacrepencies.

The staff at the homely mariposa market we're definitley attentive,helpful and quick on the register!I dont live or spend much time in Sacramento but im sure the forward thinking and jovial atmosphere of the shop is valued by local and tourist alike ^-^

I would give this better rating IF, they didnt sell 4 year expired food and they weren't so OVERPRICED! The people are very genuinely nice, but I only come here when I have to. Other than that save yourself some time and money and tun to Circle K.
