I had an extremely disappointing experience with this store. During my purchase, one item was not available, and the staff assured me they could ship it later. However, upon returning home, I discovered that they had added a $35 shipping fee to the order, which they failed to mention at the time of purchase.

Furthermore, I realized that the shipping was international and, with only two weeks left before I leave, it was unlikely that the package would arrive on time. I called to cancel the order, but they informed me that their policy does not allow cancellations. They insisted that they had mentioned this, but I am absolutely certain that they did not.

Their customer service was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. They only offered an exchange or other alternatives, but no cancellation. This lack of transparency and flexibility is unacceptable. I strongly advise against shopping at this store.

I actually had no reason to go into Mark Fenwick until I had an extremely uncomfortable and rude encounter with an employee OUTSIDE of the store. I did not catch this disturbed persons name but she had long blonde curly hair, and wore blue eyeliner.

I was walking outside with some friends when I heard a woman yell at me "I NEED TO GET BY. CAN I GET BY" I turned around only for her to continue to say "YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING RIGHT?" As if I wasn't understanding English. Mind you, I am 7 months pregnant so if my walking was too slow for her, she had every opportunity to walk around me and not into me.

I am completely disgusted by the way she decided to speak at me and I took the opportunity to go into her work place and let her know she was extremely rude. She asked me to leave knowing she was in the wrong. If she is treating me this way outside of the store, I can only imagine how many other Carmel visitors she is doing this to. Not to mention that you work in an establishment in the area. Do better Karen, Pam, or whatever your name is. I would say don't go into this store, but she will find you, outside of the store.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. A blonde lady with trashy blue eyeliner (mid fifties maybe?) ignored me when I first walked in. No hello, no welcome in. Nothing. As I browsed she just stood there with her arms crossed like she was annoyed I was there. Not once did she ask me if I needed help. There were a few cute pieces but she was so rude I decided to take my business elsewhere. It’s worth mentioning I’m not white…if you’re ethnic, you know the vibes.

Stylish and unique women's line of clothing.
My wife has bought numerous jackets and a few tops here...astoundingly, I've liked everything she has purchased. Staff quite friendly - and don't hover!

For posted critics: Fenwick's is a high-end, Carmel store; you want a deal of possible lower quality? Go online. You want the experience and sense of class, visit the store.

If I could rate Mark Fenwick less than one star, I would. My review is on their customer service and store procedures. They have refused to refund a $56.55 item which was stolen because they didn't follow their own store procedures regarding shipping. They told me that they would text me and/or email me the tracking number for the Jess & Jane tee I purchased. However, since they did neither the package was stolen off my porch. If they followed their own procedures, I could have tracked it and been alerted by UPS when it was delivered. I spoke to a sales person and the manager and they don't think their lack of follow through contributed to the theft or accept responsibility.

I bought a beautiful jacket at this store. The next day, my friend who loved the jacket, went on line and found the same jacket on sale for $160! With tax,I paid $392. I feel this store should honor sale prices. Very disappointing, NO REFUNDS!

The mark up here is outrageous! I bought a Janska coat for $279. Found it at Amazon for $159 and at Janska $169 free shipping. Buyer beware. I was dumb.
