This is a truly Alaskan shop by a true Alaskan family. Even the 23 year old cat is is rugged Alaskan! Any adult will feel like a kid in a toy store. The store has exclusively local Alaskan made products from soaps to saws. The shop is where they do all the jewelry blade work wood and custom jobs. Very fun.

This is a super cool place that nobody talks about. We luckily ran across a flyer at the tourist center.

When we got there we were instantly welcomed and my husband and I were in awe of all the cool pieces/artifacts and such that they have. We bought a mammoth tusk, elk antler and some homemade goat milk products.
We worked with Angel and I have to say, she is the sweetest most helpful person you can ask for. Since we've been home, we've been in contact with themm several times just getting advice and they have always willingly helped us out.

When we left Alaska, my husband and I both said, we hated not being able to stop by the store whenever. If you're in Fairbanks, Alaska..you MUST stop by.

I would describe this shop as a hidden treasure! It's filled with beautifully crafted and displayed Alaska made items.
It was a perfect place to buy a unique Christmas gift for my grandson.

Mark Knapp of Forge of Fire fame, has a nice store front with standard knife stock and custom made knives. A really nice guy who is very talented in his craft. Enjoyed visiting with him. He is a great resource for people who want to create their own knives, selling the materials you need. Stop in, even if you're not in the market for knives.

Really nice owners! The store is small but has really high quality Alaskan made items at reasonable prices. Whether you are looking for carved whalebone items, wooly mammoth tusks , ivory carvings or something else, your chances of finding something you love are excellent!

Friendly staff and a special souvenir shop! Love it also love the dog there! According to the owner, they have 5 years backlog of custom knife order - that is crazy!
Got a book here to make sure I can recognize the bear track when doing the hike!

Great people in an awesome store! The were able to fix a handle on a hatchet that belonged to my father for years. Fantastic place for knife blanks and handle supplies. It's like walking into a museum with so much to see and explore! Highly recommend a visit, just to see the displays, but you'll want to buy something. Very high quality materials.
