Upgraded to a Market District and I did not expect this to be a bad thing, but it is. They didn't expand the store footprint, but expanded the selection of prepared foods, and got rid of both sides of a full aisle to sell beer and wine at inflated prices, so they actually have less selection in basically everything else. Fewer brands of enchilada sauce, BBQ rubs, and you can't even get salt pork. They do have a few extra types of mushrooms though. 🙄

Clean and stocked well. Great fruits and vegetables. Fresh baked breads. My place to go for grocery shopping. Cantaloupe to ice cream. Loving the "price lock" deals. Store is large and not crowded until check-out. Also has a state liquor store inside and wine selection. Seems they try to keep competitive pricing. The produce section is always full and fresh.

Why doesn’t this location have shopping carts or baskets
This is the worst Giant Eagle on the east side of Cleveland. I definitely recommend the one in Beachwood or Lyndhurst.
They don’t have shopping carts. They literally do not have shopping carts readily available when you walk in the store to shop. Produce isn’t quality. No fresh seafood on display. Lines are always long after work cause they have 4 cashiers.
I honestly hope they close this Giant Eagle soon (like tomorrow) because the customer experience is horrible at this location specifically.

This place is awesome. It has everything I need even fuel across the road, but it is not called giant Eagle anymore is now called market District.

I just had an extremely distasteful experience while shopping at this location. Honestly I think it was race motivated and definitely was unprofessional. I was shopping for a customer while doing instacart and I only had one item left to grab but I was having difficulties finding it so I approach a group of three workers and I asked for assistance . Mike the bald guy looked at me with total disgust and told me “there’s over 7000 items in this store how would I know where it’s at” . His demeanor and reply was extremely unprofessional and I suggest he quits working in customer service because clearly it’s taking a toll on his mental health.

This place lacks the vegan options, also it doesn't carry sushi vendors, so it gets left out comparatively to the others around in the same area. Plus the frozen section isn't as diverse it lacks in the quality of the diversity.
