MARVY, I LOVE YOU ⚒️

This grocery store tickled me pink many months ago and i’m finally getting around to tickling it back with a review.

I treasured my time at Mar-Val. It’s located near the border of Yosemite Grand Central Park and is a perfect escape back to creature comforts that we deprive ourselves with when camping. I’m not a glamper so I’m serious when I say it’s nice to see drink fridges, candy bars, and decorative lighter displays. I’m saying this even though I find myself thousands of miles away. Mar-Val is an oasis, end of sentence.

Nice market run in the gateway to Yosemite. They doubled the size of the store about four years ago which really increase their merchandising. The isles are kind of narrow that they are well-stocked inventory. They have smaller shopping carts to accommodate that. The staff is very helpful and friendly they all seem to enjoy your jobs. The store gas getting busy but they will open enough registers to handle the shoppers. May be a little difficult to find it’s tucked down the bottom of a little hill but it’s right behind the Hungry Bear diner.

There stuff is pretty pricey but the employees are helpful and nice and they have hot food and also blood orange cranberry juice but three stars for the price on things there a semi rural area so I get it but still 8 dollars for a pack of eggs is much

The best grocery store in the area with great selection of everything your family may need for a few days stay at the Pine Mountain Lake or on your way to/from Yosemite. They also carry bunch of things that surprise me every time I visit this store. Busy place run by very friendly people.

Nice shopping place to and all things grocery and lifestyle while you’re in Groveland. Won’t expect the urban or a large shopping type market but does the job. We stayed in Groveland for our trip to Yosemite. Fresh fruit was a plus. Had watermelon and some other grocery.

I arrived early early in the morning to work in Groveland. This was one of the only stores getting ready for their day. I saw one stocker inside working the last hour before they were to open to the public for business. It was good to see movement because the rest of the town was asleep. This store is located conveniently off the main road. Easy off and easy back on. Ample parking and a good vibe. I hope one day to return and maybe go inside and buy something. I didn't get a chance this time. I start work early.

This is literally my favorite store in the west!! They are ALWAYS so helpful, energetic, kind, polite, all those things u just wish u had at Walmart. They're selection is top knotch too and the prices are reasonable, for California anyway. I struggled with all my stuff last time and 3 different people took the time to make sure I was ok and on my way. I walked in frustrated, walked out smiling, like the weight of the world was lifted. Interesting that the beauty aids and the liquor share the same space,lol. We are regulars here and somewhere I have a video of my walk thru the store and I will upload. I may even make another one.
And the deli....THE DELI. First time I enjoyed my sandwich in months. She extra smashed and grilled mine for me, just the way I like it! I was annoying and slow, and struggling, cuz I'm old, lol, and they all got me thru it!!

The quality and presentation is so nice at this store. They have a great selection, and for the location, the prices aren't too outrageous
