We had a very beautiful experience on the 2 hr canyon ride. ❤️ The staff was very friendly and the horses seemed to be well taken care of, each with their very unique and lovely personalities. 😊
The views were gorgeous and the guide always made sure that everyone was doing okay and staying together. We also got a little bit of information about the area, local plants and wildlife. It was a really nice and relaxing experience and we were very happy with all of it. Will definitely go again if we're ever around the area in the future. ❤️

We had an amazing experience! My two girls, age 8 and 10, and I went on the one hour ride, and it was perfect for them. Just long enough for their age without becoming tiresome. But we got to see plenty of gorgeous scenery in that amount of time! The mountains, the fall colors starting to show, and the sound of the creek bubbling right next to us, it was all just stunning. Our guide, Carissa, did an excellent job, she was so informative and fun to chat with on the ride, and the horses were pros. Our 3 year old stayed behind and was able to do a leaded walk on a horse with another guide, Gabby, and she loved it. It’s really the perfect family excursion for all ages! Such a great memory. We highly recommend!

Fabulous experience riding Annie the grey mule. I've always ridden horses so this was a first for me, and my first time riding in America with a stunning backdrop.
I rode the hour trail which was lovely, but I'm sure you get to see so much more on a longer hack, which unfortunately I didn't have the time to do.
Gabi who took me out is an absolute star. It's wranglers like her and great mules or horses that make the ride worthwhile . She was attentive, kind, caring and welcoming.
I highly recommend McGee Creek.

These folks are awesome, and the Beaver Meadow ride today couldn't have been more beautiful. The selected horse and mule fit us (and our temperaments) perfectly. The superb and friendly staff really had our saddles and stirrups nicely dialed -- we were totally comfortable on this 4-hour ride. Our guide Kate was great -- pleasant, accommodating, and safety minded.

Following a big winter, as expected, the creeks and waterfalls were rushing and the whole area was green and lush. Bugs weren't really an issue until we stopped at the halfway point; then I wished I'd brought some juice along. Otherwise, no problems.

We'll ride with McGee Creek Pack Station again and will refer friends their way. Highly recommend!

This was a nice horse trail ride the first timer. The young ladies and gentleman were patient and informative. Excellent customer service and you could feel they really cared about the horses and the history of the ranch. We were able to pet and feed some horses while the brother told us all the horses names. The cow dogs are friendly too. They'll play with you. Definitely would visit again and it's family friendly.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on our two hour ride through McGee canyon! I have been to many pack stations and this one is not to be missed! The staff was so accommodating and kind! Carissa, who answered my phone call, was able to squeeze both my boyfriend and I in on a ride for the very next day and she was able to fill my request of riding a mule instead of a horse. Savannah, our guide, was easy to talk to and kept everyone safe on the trail. I will absolutely be back! And if you get paired up with Buckwheat the mule, you won’t be disappointed! 🩷

We had an amazing experience at McGee Creek Pack Station from the very beginning. Booking over the phone was easy and I received an email confirmation right away. When we arrived we were greeted by smiling, happy staff. We were given helmets, saddle bags and advised to put on some of their sunscreen and bug spray! They have a great safety demo and riding demo before we got on our horses. We had Tex, Joe and Buddy. They were great beginner horses and we felt safe the whole time! Our guide was so knowledgeable and chatty which was great! She checked on us throughout the ride to make sure we were all okay. I would recommend any ride from McGee Creek and I will be returning for another ride 😊
