This is my favorite local shop. Randy is excellent and true gentleman. Very friendly and accommodating. Randy is loaded with knowledge and is always willing to help out. This is a place I don’t mind spending my money. Honest and fair. Only thing I wish was that there was a little more space in the shop. This place is old school local and friendly. I routinely
recommend to family and friends.

I called five local gun retailers. No one would answer their phone! I appreciate prompt service! Called this retailer, The owner answered. Very polite and very helpful! I had a Mossberg to trade in towards a new gun. Gave me a great tade in value ( more than anyone else I spoke with ). Mechanicsburg Ordinance had the exact firearm I was shopping for! Very knowledgeable staff, very polite, very efficient! Background check was fast and without burdensome paperwork. The store is small, but they have what you need! I was pleasantly surprised the number of customers that came in while I was purchasing! Highly recommend this great place!!!!! Thank you Mechanicsburg Ordinance!!!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went there to buy a new rifle and get some help with mounting my existing scope. The staff was very rude. I asked them to change the cheek piece and reluctantly they did. The rings I had for my scope were high so I asked them for help with finding new rings and they either had no idea about shooting or they just did not want to help. The customers in the store were more helpful than they were. I ended up telling them they were to busy and walked out. I would prefer to buy from small shops rather than buying a rifle online. This shop was terrible. I went to York the the same day and bought the same gun from Carbon and Steel Sporting Goods. They were friendly and were great about helping me mount my scope. Mechanicsburg Ordnance and all the staff sucked and I would never buy anything from them. If you want a great gun shop go to Carbon and Steel Sporting Goods in York.

Great shop. Small store, but they have it loaded with stuff. I've sent a few other people there, and they all loved it. Randy and Matt know their stuff, and would spend all day with a customer, if the customer needed that much help. The prices are always great, and if they dont have what you want, they will get it for you. There is a reason why they have so many repeat customers! This is the only gun shop I have used since I found them.

1st time in the shop and I've been in many and work at one. I was very impressed! Shop is small but very well stocked and extremely organized and well laid out. Prices are very good on new and pre owned guns as well as reloading supplies. As I said I was very impressed with this shop and will definitely continue to shop there. I was there only for a transfer and I found a laser for a great price. The owner was very nice and talked for a few after the transfer was done. Great shop and business!

I have purchased a few guns from this store and every time I was treated with knowledgeable and respectful personal. I have sent numerous new customers into this store and they all thanked me for it. If they don’t have it they will try there hardest to find it for you. I even purchased a used gun from them that had problems and they took it and had it fixed in a day or two. You can go to the big stores and maybe you’ll save a buck or two , but the knowledge you get here is worth every cent.

Small shop but does have a nice selection of some cool firearms. Bought my first handgun here years ago when i turned 21 and had good experience with I believe the owner of the shop. Best price for a FNS-9 around. One of the best honest shops around, its always a pleasure coming in the shop for anyone thinking about heading up there to see what he has. Wish you can expand and make the shop bigger though that be amazing. 5/5 from this shop.
