Wow, I was finally able to stop into Mediterranean Flavors yesterday, walked out with a bag full of food, and can't wait to go back! I've been to Mediterranean/European markets from South Carolina to Washington state and this market though small is mighty and has so many delicious looking items I can't wait to try. They have some of everything at great prices. I got cous cous, yellow split peas and red lentils all at a better price than the grocery stores in town. Not that any other store in town has yellow split peas. They bring in all the flat breads regularly, and have freshly baked desserts weekly. The hummus, fried canned eggplant, and dolmas were all excellent, and there are multiple brands and types of each. The owners are both gracious and kind. My only regret is not going by sooner, i could have been eating like a queen since they opened! Put Mediterranean Flavors on your list of regular stops if you live in Ridgecrest and don't miss it if you're traveling through.

The owner is super sweet and has a great selection of products & ingredients to cook up some mediterranean dishes.

Kid friendly! She has a small toy area for the kids to play at while you shop. Our son loved this area. He also loved to run around and touch everything, lol. The owner was so sweet and gave him toys and mediterranean sweets & treats while we shopped.
We're so happy to have this shop as an option to shop from and to support a local family owned Business.

There is so much to say about this store… but I will try to keep it simple.
Wonderful!! We were greeted by the owners with a sample of the Turkish coffee with cardamon and a welcoming smile! A lovely and delicious way to break the ice. It was a bit busy but both took their time to passionately explain the products and plans. Two days later we were back, and three days after that we went again. We have tried so many new and known things but they had home made baklava!! I have had that in many places but this is by far the tastiest baklava I have had. We will be regulars and we wish them the biggest possible success in our small town and to say for as long as they like it here!

I don't know where to start but here I go. My husband and I decided to try something new and we were delighted with the experience. We were offered coffee, I had to turn it down because I don't drink coffee but it smelled amazing. The owner offered so much insight into the food. This type of food was new to me which made me alittle hesitant as to what to buy but she noticed what I was grabbing and let me try some of everything plus more. I've always wanted to travel and try new things. This was like traveling somewhere new and enjoying their food. Thank you so much for being here in our little town.

I love how friendly the owner is. I'm not familiar of most of the selection of food here but the owner is great enough to guide me how to cook some of the ingredients provided; and so far, everything is extremely delicious!

Good selection of various foods from various mediterranean countries. The owner was super friendly and offered plenty recommendations of new things to try. Normally we would have to drive either to Vegas or LA for some of these things
