Buying the car was a smooth and easy process. The salesman, Andrew, was a pleasure to work with—he made sure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. However, I wish I could say the same about the service department.

Every time I call, I either get placed on hold for an extended period or the phone just rings endlessly without an option to leave a message or receive a call back. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating, especially when trying to schedule service or get basic information.

While the sales experience was great, the poor service department experience has left me disappointed. I hope they improve their customer service and responsiveness.

Me and my fiance had salesperson Jordan. Good guy. Very helpful. Never felt pressured into anything. Both him and the manager did their best to get us into the car we needed. Jordan was very knowledgeable and would recommend going to him in the future

If zero stars was an option I would chose that! Before you think about purchasing a vehicle from this establishment please know you will never get a call back, e mail, or even someone on the phone trying to help a customer schedule an oil change. I made several attempts for over 4 weeks. I finally gave up and called Modesto Volkswagen! They were able to get me in less than 7 days later the first time I made a phone call! Do better Volkswagen Merced.
