My (less than a year old) surface laptop bricked itself trying to install updates. I sent it to Microsoft's repair center, who promptly lost it. Twelve days after I submitted my repair request (don't pay attention to their 6-8 day return window guarantee, it's not accurate) I received back a laptop charger in the mail instead of my device.

For those who don't know, Microsoft now makes it nearly impossible to contact a human to speak to them, so I spent days trying to get a hold of someone to discuss this. After finally talking to a person and getting transfered through 3 departments, my case was escalated to someone who promptly informed me that they would be going on leave for the next 5 days. The escalation specialist did leave their manager in charge of my case, but their manager "had already finished their shift for the day" when I called at 11am PST. When I asked to speak to literally any manager who was in the office, I was put on hold before being hung up on.

I deeply regret buying a Microsoft product and will never make that mistake again. My laptop, by the way? MIA, they have no idea where it is. And it sounds like they have no plans to reimburse me.

UPDATE: Finally got the laptop back. It only took multiple pushy phone calls, stern emails, and this review. Still never buying a Microsoft product again.

Windows disables my game driver and audio almost every day to manipulate me into restarting my laptop to install weekly updates. Today's update took 20 minutes to complete, after which my audio was still broken. I had to restart a second time to fix it.

Love it! Alot of seating to work and a garage for employee parking. Ended my day with a view on the rooftop, and a stroll along the hallways.

Lovely place to walk around, an easy stroll but watch out you might see a jack rabbit 🐇 or even a bobcat if you're around at dusk!

Well done for the new campus! Impressed by the cold brew with Equator coffee. Nice and contemporary interior and lighting decor.

What happened to the Software giant. You own the most widely used Windows and each version was better than before. Now Windows 11 has crossed the line of ethics with misuse of AI. I have no problem with folks using AI but please spare me. When I am shopping I don't need to be tempted with discounts. You are also pushing your software products. That is OK. But let me decide. Don't push me too hard. Shame on you, MICROSOFT.
