I recently went in for a brake fix and oil change, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! Typically, I dread car maintenance visits, but the presumed owner made everything so easy and pleasant. He was incredibly polite, took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, and made sure I felt comfortable with all the details.

The best part? He went above and beyond by fixing a persistent VC light issue I'd had for years — free of charge! It was clear he genuinely cared about getting my car in top shape, not just about the sale. The extra time he spent showing me exactly what he did for my car was a real bonus and made me feel confident in his work.

Being new (coming back after 24 yrs) to the area and trying to find great, honest service is always difficult. Today went to get the smog on our car and Googled the nearest smog station. The first attempt took us to a test only and we needed a star certified test center. Looked around and across the street was Mike's Service Center. Went in and stated that we needed a a smog check. The owner (presuming he was the owner) was very nice and attentive. The car was smog tested and passed which on a 24 yr old car is sometimes difficult, we love the car and it's still drives awesome MBZ SLK 230. They just don't make em like they use to. All and all we are very pleased with the service at Mike's and would recommend them. Sure you can go to the big fancy big corp type of places, but we like supporting the small neighborhood and family run businesses. So yes it's a small smog test but in this crazy economy it's great to support your smaller community/neighborhood establishments.

Excellent Customer Service and Quick Smog Check!

I had a fantastic experience at this smog shop, thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by Mike. He was incredibly friendly and happy, which made the whole process so much more pleasant. They were very quick with my smog check, getting me in and out in no time. Mike even went above and beyond by removing a rat’s nest from the hood of my car. I couldn’t be more grateful for his help. Highly recommend this place for their efficiency and outstanding service!

My 19-year-old son took our 2012 Mazda to Mikes after it overheated. He is working at a local summer camp in the mountains, and we needed to find a local mechanic that could diagnose / repair the car. Ladies Mike was such a delight an extremely sweet individual & i must say a hottie!
I walked to the service station and the cute gentleman there helped push and rescue my car off the road.
He tested my car and saw that the Alternator wasn't charging,
Installed the new parts and showed me a few helpful tips about my car.
Me and my girls were able to make our Big Bear trip, im so Thankful for Mike for getting us out and about.
My car has been running amazing and I couldn't be happier!

Per the positive reviews, I took my car to Mikes on the Blvd to get it smogged. Sam and Mike were both super friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, seem very trustworthy! Had me in and out in less than 20 minutes! I have found my local mechanics, Yay!
