They got all kinds of imported brands of perfumes, very professional and patient staff. I ended up getting the Louis chocolate can’t wait to share with my family. Will be back to pick up a nice perfume.

I was helped by an amazing staff member named Justine. Justine totally NAILED IT when it came to recommended fragrances. I tried and smelled over 20+ fragrances and went home with samples to wear and a travel sized fragrance. I had a ton of fun smelling here and her help was truly awesome, I wouldn't have found some of the scents I fell in love with without her. Highly recommend going here if you need a new scent, theyre the best!

A perfect perfumery in the heart of a warm welcoming vibrant neighborhood of Valencia.
The staff: Owner, Salina, and Michael all reflect the beauty and joy the neighborhood can be proud of. Valencia offers some of the most delicious food and at the heart of it all is this perfumery offering a wide selection of some of the best indie and niche fragrances with the help of a warm and fun staff which elevated my experience worthy of wanting to be a frequent in the area.

The selection of fragrances in Ministry of Scent is enough for people distinguishing the structure of a particular fragrance, helps customers distinguish notes, accords, and compare the synthetic notes with a more natural one. With such a helpful and welcoming staff, I saw that those who are more new in the fragrance community are welcomed and often provided with plentiful of knowledge and assistance especially about the notes that makes any of the fragrances special. The store doesn’t hesitate in allowing testing and letting customers experience the fragrances on skin.

Tauer Perfumes, Zoologist, Maison Tahite, Laboratorio Olfativo, Profumum Roma, Kerosene, Imaginary Authors, Bohoboco, Les Bains, Guerbois, and my newly found favorite thanks to the store for offering is Scent of Woods. There are many more on their rows of stacked shelves pictured worthy of discovering, sniffing, and discussing with the knowledgeable staff

The quality of their customer service and care from start to end is unmatched, making them a note worthy and one of the best perfumery store both the youth and collectors can enjoy in northern California.

I cannot wait visiting Valencia and stopping by Ministry of Scent again 💕🤗

A perfume enthusiast’s heaven. The staff were so helpful, not at all pushy, and they showed me fragrance after fragrance. I don’t live in SF, so I definitely spent some time here. I left with a lovely fragrance I had never heard of alongside some fun new samples. Emily was fantastic and whenever I find myself in SF, I’ll be back, despite my wallet’s pleas to relax a little around here.

I visited the store after 3 years. I was disappointed. In the past, Antonia used to be there and was very good in understanding my needs and recommending products. She was very knowledgeable about the perfume makers as well. The store is larger and has 2-3 people working. The people were not good in understanding my needs and recommending products. I had to rely on my own to browse and get overwhelmed by too many scents. The Tigerlily experience I had is dead, and that is sad.

I was in the city recently and decided on a whim to stop by. This store is incredible if you are a perfume lover! They have everything you can think of and a lot of niche perfumes that are usually unable to smell in person. The saleswoman was very warm and inviting, I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything while she was showing me things she thought I would like based on my past favorites. I of course walked out with a great new fragrance and I also got three generous samples of other ones I enjoyed.

This was a great experience and a beautiful store!

I love this store but they need a (better) ventilation system. When I went in a few months ago, my friend and I did find wonderful fragrances but we came out feeling like we could taste perfume for 30 minutes. I almost went in last week and promptly left re the strong scent.

I hope the Fillmore location is more approachable.

I recently made a trip to San Francisco specifically to visit a store I’ve shopped at online before, eager to sample and purchase a fragrance I’ve had my eye on for a while. I knew they had been out of stock of this particular scent, but I asked twice when I visited yesterday and was told they still didn’t have it. When I asked the worker when it would be back in stock, they simply said, “I don’t know.”

I didn’t check the website while I was there, but the next day, I decided to look it up online and found that they actually had it in stock. I love this store, its selection, and its beautiful ambiance, but the experience left me feeling a bit disappointed. I ended up spending my budget on other samples and fragrances since I couldn’t buy what I originally came for in-store, and now I have to wait days to receive what I had hoped to take home that day. Just a little disappointing from the service
