I’ve bought meat from here (chicken and beef) at least three times. The first time, there was a Muslim brother at the register who helped me out and told me a little about the store’s origins. This was back in early 2024 and the store had been around for at least 1 year before I found it. Other times I have gone are after midday prayer. On those trips, the folks behind the counter are not Muslim and don’t know much about how the meat is butchered. Once I was helped by a nice lady who was more comfortable speaking Spanish than English. We made it work. Se habla español or take Google Translate with your to be safe. It is the Mission after all.

Really big, nice and clean. Bought some halal veal and it was perfect. I used to go to Green Apple Market on Polk but don’t live near there anymore so I’m so happy this is here! Inshaallah they stay open and are a staple of the community.

I wish they had halal beef bacon though!

I am very happy to have a new Halal Food Market in the Mission District. I did ride a bike there, but I am positive that parking won't be an issue. Masha'a ALLAH a very good size market, very clean and needs our support as community,
Support as local business and support as a halal store.
Note, it had more Latino products, and it is very good to be 8n service of your local community and looking forward to more Arab/ Middle Eastern products.

Nothing here halal. I don’t know if they have some halal meat at the counter but all the other meat is not halal. If you are coming here for some halal sucuk or something like that, it does not exist.

Halal meat is available and can be butchered right in front of you. Very clean and lots of spice mixes and other products available.
