Had no idea what this store was but i was glad i went in! Another museum store!! My favourite!!! They had so many gifts and accessories and trinkets and dolls and heck, even furniture?! They had niche products and jewellery and even apparel, it was a fun experience walking through both levels and seeing everything they had to offer. As much as i would have loved to purchase a nice chair or lamp, i probably wouldn't be able to fit it in my suitcase back home. Staff were nice and friendly too!!

A must see for tourists and even locals! It is a perfect spot for unique housewarming presents and gifts for kids and adults. Such a fun, colorful, 2 floor design store, for window shopping, along with MOMA exclusive 'omg this is SO cute' fun, colorful housewares and gadgets. We spend a long time just playing and tinkering with everything. Love this store, even more than the one at the museum. Member discounts still apply here! Expect tourist museum priced items.

By fluke I came across the Design Store. What a great experience. My wallet took a little bit of a beating as I bought a few special gifts for myself.
Everything is fun, clever, colourful and beautifully designed.
Some pieces are iconic and others mainstream. Loved the Andy Warhol collection.
A must visit while in New York.
Notes: not wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Staff are exceptional. Parking is challenging on the street.

I'm appreciated the staff helping my friend and I to get the item we wanted. However, my personal opinion, some of the items here are overpriced. I know it is an innovation and arts piece but for me it is overpriced anyway. I took my friend here because she wanted to buy stuff for her future parent in law but if you have more time I think you can fine gift better than spend extra on brand.

I always have a positive experience at MoMA Design Store. The security at the door, the cashiers, and the staff on the floor are consistently friendly and helpful.

Yesterday, I had a particularly wonderful interaction with a staff member named Summer. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

Keep up the great work! Everyone in this location deserves a raise!
