EVERY bride should have this experience while shopping for a gown! Words truly cannot convey how special the team at ML South Coast Plaza made my bridal fitting. On the way to shop for my dress, my mother suffered a major heart issue and was hospitalized for emergency surgery. Victoria at ML was the kindest, most above and beyond customer service I have ever encountered. When I had to cancel my appointment suddenly to car for my mom, she personally spent weeks working with me holding multiple dates at once as we waited for over a month for my mom to recover and have our magical day of dress shopping. She checked on me and my mother while we were in the hospital and stayed in constant contact with me as we waited for the doctor’s clearance and a good day to travel. We drove many hours to reach the store and Victoria and Stephanie were unbelievable. They treated us like royalty, like we were meeting old friends. She listened and supported me through my entire experience and we all cried I think when we found the perfect dress on the perfect day - the same day my mom and mother in law & sister in law met for the very first time! It was honestly a core memory and I am looking forward to going back to the boutique to have my fitting. These women make it more than a transaction. The women at this store (especially Victoria and Stephanie) are committed to making the experience of shopping for a dress one you will always cherish and i personally think whether you buy a gown here or not, if you’re a bride you MUST go have the ML bridal experience at South Coast. The only thing more beautiful than the gowns are the people who work there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Monique Lhuillier South Coast Plaza! As a bride, I visited several stores, but none came close to the exceptional service and care I received here. Victoria has been beyond helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of, which made my bridal experience so much more enjoyable and memorable. The attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism from the team here are unmatched!

I had high hopes for my experience at this boutique, especially since it has always been my dream to wear a Monique Lhuillier dress. After saving diligently, I finally made my purchase, feeling a wave of excitement for my special day. However, my joy quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered that the same exact dress had been sold to another girl from my small community, who will be wearing it just a week before me. We have the same guests attending both weddings. I am truly mortified. Even simple little dress boutiques don’t sell the same dress to the same high school for prom so they can feel special on their once in a lifetime special day. I am still at a shock that this has happened.

Coming from a tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone, this news felt personally devastating. I truly expected that a well-respected designer boutique would have measures in place to avoid selling the same dress to multiple brides within such close proximity. Or to the same cultural communities. Which I specifically asked my sales girl to please be on alert if anyone from my community is interested in this same dress.

What hurt even more was the lack of support or empathy offered when I expressed my feelings. To make matters worse, when I reached out for support, the staff only offered me unappealing alternatives to slightly modify my dress, which would require me to spend even more money. and not even an ounce of compensation was offered for this oversight. This lack of empathy has further compounded my distress.

The stress from this ordeal has significantly impacted my health, causing sleepless nights and ongoing anxiety. Every bride deserves to feel special without the burden of such heartache.

I urge the management to reconsider their policies and provide better support for future brides, ensuring they can enjoy this special time without unnecessary stress.

I had 2 appts with Victoria to look at wedding gowns at Monique lhuillier. Although I ended up finding another dress elsewhere, I have to say Victoria was absolutely wonderful! Her knowledge and professionalism was absolutely a standout.

I worked with Sarah to get my perfect dress and I wish I was getting married again just to work with her and the alterations team! I had a last second change to my wedding and needed alterations done in a few weeks instead of a few months. Sarah made. it. happen. I was SO appreciative of her flexibility - it made the craziness of wedding planning so much easier. I was so comfortable working with her and felt like a princess trying on dresses. I couldn't recommend enough.
