Monty's is the definition of convenience store. Fresh cooked snacks are available for morning and lunch times. Wide variety of drinks, liquor and beer. Best fountain drinks in town. Staff is very friendly

Tried to ask the clerk where to fill out Lotto tickets in Madera. She said there were only machines like her's. I left and found a place, in Madera, CA, where one can fill out an actual ticket with one's own selected numbers. So, either she lied or is not properly informed. Either way she misrepresented herself on behalf of the California Lottery Board.

Monty's Liquor has been a Madera go-to location for a long time, having relocated several times since the 1970s. At the current location, besides the liquor and general mini market items, Monty's has retail gasoline.
Their liquor selection is inclusive of most beer, wine, hard liquor, and the common mixes along with soft drinks.
Short order cold and hot food items are also available.

Monty's has been in Madera for a very long time, but moved to this location not too long ago. They're a little off the beaten path but worth the couple extra minutes to drive out Howard Road. They sell gas here for a good price. They also sell beer, liquor, convenience items, and prepared food. Prices for items such as milk, are high, but not enough to stop you from getting them when you're in a hurry.
