I have been there 3 times and have witnessed the owner yell and berate the employees. Some very young ones too.

I will not go back and instead use Outdoor Supply a couple of blocks down.

We just moved to the area and have popped in a few times. Every experience has been great and, dare I say, some of the best customer service we've experienced in a while! The vibe is friendly and relaxed. There is always someone available to help and we're always impressed with their recommendations and guidance. After only a few experiences, they've made loyal customers out of us. We are grateful to be so close to such a great hardware store and look forward to our next visit.

Wanna go to a hardware store where the employees are universally polite, engaging, and knowledgeable? This particular location seems to consistently be like that in the 4-5 times I've dropped in. Even the young and less-experienced employees seem to have sufficient competence to answer questions or work through the best way to get you to what you need. What an amazing contrast with the "big box" hardware stores -- you know, the ones use an orange or blue color pallet for the brand? Can't speak for all Ace Hardware stores and say they are this good, but this location definitely is!

Just went in here with my kids who weren’t doing anything more than exploring and being kids. They were with me the whole time but got scolded by a number of employees and then the owner continued to argue with me. The other stores in the area have always been so kid friendly and they are just not. I will no longer be shopping here after this experience.
