I was looking forward to my first visit to Moraga Farmer's Market because of the reviews, but I consider my $55 spent today a total waste of money.

Apricots, nectarines and peaches bought from Lee Family Farm were not particularly sweet despite being ripe. You can get similar or better tasting fruits from a local grocery store.

Cherries from J&J Ramos Farms were good but much more expensive than similar cherries from anywhere else.

But the biggest disappointment were strawberries from Rodriguez Bros Ranch. They looked good and I bought a whole box because the guy told me they were great. They were among the worst strawberries I've ever tried - tasteless and watery. Total waste of money and the seller's lie left a bad taste in my mouth.

A true farmer's market with mostly vegetables and fruit. I had a bouquet made by Nick who is a true flower arranging artist. Be prepared to wait for him the fuse your request with his artistic brilliance.

Always love to support our local vendors! Good produce and a few good lunch options. A little spendy, so you're not going to get the best deals but good quality. Open air and marked lines for popular vendors, so good covid policies. It can get a little crowded so go early, and bring a bag for your goodies! Most vendors are cash only, be ready to round up or have exact change.

Nice, local, high quality produce at mid-range prices. Fresh fish is especially good, as are the local fruit and vegetables. Makes it easy and delicious to eat local and seasonal!

Big market but too pricy. Dozen eggs for $11, etc. BUT there is a gentleman selling excellent succulents at best prices I've seen anywhere in the East Bay.

Such a wonderful energy in the market every Sunday. You'll find the best produce California has to offer. My favorite time is right in the morning where the sun really illuminates the produce and everything is so vibrant.

I loved this Farmers market! It was relatively small but everything was fresh from the vegetables to the Alaska salmon. They also had different cuisines from different cultures. Perfect place to go on a Sunday and take your significant other.

Next market in the area. Parking is easy and there are many vendors ranging from pricey to great value. Most of the vendors have been the same for many years, so it’s also a really stable market. Hope to see you there on Sunday!
